Don't say a word, I'm okay with the quiet.

I am done with the week of mayhem.
*throws confetti*

I must have been really tired and sleep-deprived, I slept from 4:30PM until 9.

I know. I sleep like a log. Be champions!

I was going to sleep again at 11:30. Nicely tucked in bed, I shut my eyes tight.

But some inconsiderate shit head spoilt it all. He kept honking for over an hour and a half. I have no freaking idea why he did it but it was just plain rude.

It's fucking midnight, sane people are trying to sleep. For once I decided to join the society of the sane by sleeping early, but look what you did.

You've relegated me to community of the undead.

He's stopped already, thankfully, but I can't go back to sleep now because I can't fall asleep with a horribly angry head.

*breathes deeply*

Okay. Let me bore you with random conversations.
Random conversation 01: the best friends in McDonalds'.
"So you agree to Theobroma Tuesday?"
"Theo Walcott?"
"WTF"
"THEOBROMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
"Oh, that"
"Yes, that"
"So you're up for it?"
"Yes"
"Awesome"
"So alright, what's the plan?"
"Hmm...Plan one: eat at Fish and Co. Two: eat at Theobroma. Three: buy the shoes with the snake skin print (if it's still there) at Novo. Four: get album. Five: insert earplugs"
"Huh? Earplugs? What for?"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"What is?"
"We're getting earplugs for ourselves because we know you will start squealing once you exit Rock Corner with that CD in your hands"
"We want to take precautionary measures to prevent ourselves from going deaf due to incessant fangirly screams"
"HEY!"
*smacks arms*

"True facts, baby"

Random conversation 02: the mother.
"I went to eat in KFC earlier"
"Yerr...so unhealthy. I expected better from you"
"It was one of those days-lah I felt like eating something from KFC!"
"Anyway, back to what I was saying earlier. While I was eating, they played Light On"
"Did you think of me or not?"
"Of course I did!"
"Awwww! You love me! I love you too!"
"I was thinking about how you'd spazz out and start singing or screaming hearing it"

Seriously, do I squeal/scream really bad?

Anyway, I am seriously in love with the drummer boy and his hair. WTF ARE YOU SO PRETTY?

Sudah Tuesday ke belum?

I am not a slut, Cheongsam Lover.

Hello all, in case I don't post anything interesting here for your perusal anytime soon, it means two things.
01. I am tied up with assignments. I should be free by next Friday. My next assignment is due in December, but still.
02. I am experiencing a triple whammy of pains. Headaches, toothache and the latest, a muscle sprain.

How did the last one happen? Funny story, really.
Well, okay. It's not even the slightest bit funny.

I initially had to go to college at 12, but since Fishy said she thought of coming early at 10 to discuss our assignment together and my mother had a doctor's appointment, so I thought I would go early to college.

I reached there at 8:45 and shook my parents' hands and left. As I reached the lobby, the lift that was going up was about to close. The cleaning lady who at that time was mopping the floor, told the person inside to hold on as she saw me approaching the lift. I walked a little faster because I didn't want the people inside the lift to wait for me.

And I slipped.

Like I stepped on a banana skin.

And fell.

And landed on the right side of my body.

I sat on the floor, wincing in pain, using everything in me not to cry. I sat there, not so much in pain, but more of in total shock. It took a while for me to realise that I slipped.

As I fell, the only thing that went through my mind was "Please let me not fall on my posterior and hit my head hard on the floor. I don't want to be a vegetable so young in life!".

People just stood there stunned. No one helped, not even the security guards (I'm going to cease seeking their help from now on). Well, one girl did come out of the lift and carried my jacket for me -.-'

I was just rubbing my thigh when I got to the floor I wanted to go to. I hesitated to call my mother because she would tell my dad and being the hypochondriac he is, he might just ask the doctor to stab me with needles just to confirm that I was fine.

But I called anyway.

I told her what happened and asked her what to do next since she had a fall two weeks ago, which gave her left thigh quite a bad bruise.

I almost cried while texting the mate and she came up to check up on me, lamenting my 'not-so fantastic' week. I was grateful for that.

It was horribly difficult to sit for 30 seconds without whimpering in pain. All I felt like doing was walk around and just stand.

I just did not want to sit.

I don't think I broke a bone (I joked with Skizzy that "I think the fat surrounding my thigh absorbed the impact most so my bones were spared". She obviously didn't find that statement amusing, judging from the tone of her voice). It's a little swollen and tender but otherwise, nothing damaged.

I will be fine. Trust me.

Oh, thank you Adrian for this.

Dear CheongsamLover,

You are a sick human being.
Do you realise how much you have degraded those girls?
Do you even realise how they would feel if they knew their photos and the comments you made regarding their dressing (or the lack of it, as you claim)?

Tight headscarves? What in the world? Now, it is a sin to wear headscarves the way one is most comfortable with?

Holy Bocephus! I didn't know that!

What anyone chooses to wear if their prerogative, not yours. You do NOT own them.
It makes them comfortable in their own skin to dress the way they do. You do NOT get to judge them.
This is, after all, a free country. We have a right to choose what we wear. YOU DO NOT HAVE A SAY IN THAT.

Women are not meant to be objectified like pieces of meat. We are much higher than that, we have feelings, thoughts, ideas and the likes. Do you think I would enjoy knowing that people can take pictures of me, post it up on their blogs and call me a slut? I would be dead humiliated to be objectified in such a manner that derogatory.

If you have qualms about people's dressing, you should ignore it. Walking away and not saying a word is sometimes, the best thing to do. By the looks of it, judging from my limited knowledge of Islam (I am sanctimonious, after all), I would say that you are no worse than a rapist or a man who commits incest. You take pictures of these innocent women (I do not know them well enough to say they're innocent, but they are not to be blamed for his actions) and post them up in your little blog.

Clearly, I would state that you are committing a sin.

Multiple sins, to be precise.

Seems to me like you actually ENJOY these girls and their so-called slutty dressing.

You condemn these women who wear so-called skimpy outfits for earning a living. At least they are working to earn a living, unlike you, who actually spend time taking their pics and posting them up. Definitely the work of a highly bored and jobless man.

Grow up, get a life, and get off these women's cases, especially about their dressing.

Very bitchy, annoyed, and mostly in pain,
-TTG-

P/S: My boyfriend would like to say a few words too.

How very true.

Be my muse, please?

I feel like a failure at this point.

I don't know if I have lost my muse, but it didn't work for me last night and right now. It was working for me all the way until 9PM last night.

I will not talk about going to the prom, dresses and anything else in between until I sort myself out.

Mother-flipping basket of cookies, I've never been more disappointed in myself in my life right now.

Can someone please take me to Bangsar Village so we can have a lovely chocolate fondue session at Theobroma so I can drown my sorrows by eating chocolates and gaining extra weight?

From here, it will only get worse.

You know what?
True friends stab you from the front, not from the back.

*****
My brother just came in and asked me about the friendly match.

The fucking audacity of him to ask me that.

I'M THE GODDAMN LAST PERSON YOU SHOULD ASK!

*breathes deeply*

Seriously. Stop pissing me off and making me sad.

*****
Why was I being so bitter the past two weeks?

01. On Saturday, someone sent me a message saying if I wanted tickets to watch the match and he could organise a meeting with the boys. I so badly wanted to say yes, I almost cried.

02. I don't hate my future sister-in-law. I really don't.
It's just his decision to get married that pisses me off. He just conveniently tells my mother in the car on the way to a wedding which my father and I didn't attend one day that "I'm seeing someone and I would like to get married". Like seriously? If I hadn't known any better, I'd say it's like a shotgun wedding. It would be nice if he actually brought her home to introduce us all to her. I have a hard time adjusting to new situations. I'm awkward, to be honest. My parents at least can deal with changes better. Not that I'm saying I can't, I can. It's just that the process itself is longer than what a normal person would undergo.

I can't talk to her. I barely know her! I know, once she lives here, I'll get used to it, you say. But the thing is, we're on two different polarities. She's quiet, sane and religious; a few things I am not known for. Most people know I have an innate fear of talking to people who talk very softly. Well, yeah, she talks softly and that doesn't help me at all.

I want to be familiar with someone before I let them be a part of my life.
"I know you don't hate her. It's just that, you need to know someone for you to trust them. Trust is an important issue with you"

How he manages to tap my inner thoughts like that amazes me slightly.
"How do you know it's exactly that?"
"Trust me, I've been your best friend for 7 years and dated you for two. I know you even more than YOU let on"
"Besides...I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile..."

Stupid fellow. We're having a serious conversation and you randomly sing Lionel Richie's Hello to me.

I don't hate her. I promise. This feeling shall pass, I know of it.

03. This wedding plans are robbing me of my social life. It's sad to say I have yet to watch The Dark Knight when three-quarter of the population of the world have already watched it TWICE.

Fine, I'm being a fat, selfish walrus.

04. One of my father's late friend's daughter is going off to Cyberjaya to study and we decided to visit her on Saturday. We went out for dinner/supper (I have been skipping breakfast and dinner because I just have no mood to eat) and then we went back to their place. We got on to talking and somehow the conversation went to the topic of consuming fish.
"Fish is food for the brain. You're smart. See when you ate fish, you got 7As for your PMR. Even my son also got good result. My son...and my daughter too"

The statement itself is innocent, but I tend to look at it in both a positive and negative light.

Yes, dear father. I am not smart. No need to feel sorry for me. There is no need for you to feel compelled to mention my being smart. It's okay. I've learnt I am second best. Silver is such a pretty colour on me compared to gold.

The next day, I just went to the trophy cabinet and took out all of my stupid trophies and hid them somewhere in my room.

It's not because of what my father said. Almost every trophy in there belongs to my brother. To put my trophies there would be an insult to his intelligence.

Everyone who steps into my house for the first time would casually walk over to the cabinet and peruse the trophies one by one.
"Eh, why mostly your son's trophies only?"

We live in a culture that tells us the amount of As we score is equivalent to how perfect we are and how wonderful life is.

I don't want to be subjected to people's idiocy to such things.

So if and should anyone ask me why I lack trophies in the cabinet, I might just answer "Why? Do you want to give me one so that I don't feel sorry for myself for not being as smart as he is?"

At least I know how to spell and count and read. That's all that matters, no?

ROBBIE KEANE IS IN LIVERPOOL.

WHAT THE HELL.

HE'S NOT MEANT TO BE THERE. HE BELONGS TO SPURS.

Ah well, not like the went to ManUre. Ugh, that would've been disastrous.

I promise not to buy anything until October.

Whatever money comes my way shall be used for the David Cook album fund, the David Cook in KL fund, and the ongoing Stamford Bridge fund.

*****
"Ma, I don't care. When David Cook comes to KL, I am going"
"Must see the timing is right or not first-lah"
"Timing right or not, I am going. I have already been robbed of so many things, let me have this moment, okay"
"I'm taking you with me, by the way"

I feel better already.

Just maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me.

"What's up, sexy?"
"Shut up"

"Uh-oh. I know that tone anywhere. It's the infamous 'I-can-be-a-bitch-as-and-when-I-please' one. It's 12 so...go on"

"Do you know how horrible I feel right now?"

"Shoot"
"I just hate this wedding"

"Uh, aren't you supposed to be excited? Why do you hate it?"

"I can't do anything!"
"Like what?"

"LIKE YOU DON'T ALREADY KNOW!"

"Okay, focus your anger on something else besides me"

"Sorry. I can't see Chelsea play. I can't see Daughtry. I can't see Jared Leto in Genting. YOU KNOW HOW NEAR GENTING IS TO MY PLACE? WTF!"

"MPH IS HAVING A SALE FROM THE 30TH UNTIL THE 3RD OF AUGUST AND I CAN'T GO! FOR GOD'S SAKE, A BOOK SALE!!! I WANT TO GET SOME NEW BOOKS TO READ-LAH!"

"I'M HORRIBLY MAD AT EVERYONE!"

"THE ONE TIME CHELSEA AND I ARE IN THE SAME CONTINENT, I CANNOT GO. WHY? BECAUSE MY BROTHER DECIDED THAT HE HAS TO GET MARRIED FAST BECAUSE THE PERSON HE IS MARRYING IS THIRTY!"
"Breathe, sweetie. Take a deep breath"
"I don't hate them but...argh! I sound so selfish, but I can't help it! I'm going to be the worst sister-in-law ever!"

"You're not going to be"

"You're a grumpy little thing, you know? It amuses me to no end to see you rambling"

"Why is it that I can only talk to you when I am feeling unhappy?"
"Because when you're happy, you're busy throwing insults back and forth at me"

"Not that I'm complaining, I know that's your way of saying you love me"
"You're obnoxious"
"You know something?"

"What?"

"I'm happy David Cook isn't coming to KL just yet. Oi, quit hitting me and hear me out! Because if he did come around the time your brother was getting married, you would be even grumpier than you are right now and trust me, no one, I repeat, NO ONE would want to say a word to you because anything they say might make you shout at them or cry uncontrollably"
"When he comes here, I AM GOING AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME. I MEAN IT AND I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME!"

"Jesus, no. I am not going to come with you to see him! Thanks but no thanks"

It's amazing you're the only person I can be upfront and frank about things like these that make me doubt myself for being human or having feelings.

Thank you for 12AM pillow talks.

Thank you for making damn sure I don't weep like a MASSIVE baby walrus.

Thank you for being you. Obnoxious or not, you are love.

You're my wonderwall.

*****
I need to get out.

Guess what? This pair of shoes in Novo I was eyeing since January is being sold at RM49 now! It used to be RM126, then it was RM59.

"You want it or not?"

I said no.

Wow. First I said no to a necklace, now I said no to a pair of shoes?

I am beyond surprised that my will-power is THAT strong.

Oh, how quaint. Magic Rainbow is playing now.

You know what that means?
It means I should reward myself for being headstrong.

Right after I typed that, they played Always Be My Baby.

THIS CALLS FOR A DOUBLE REWARD!

Toodles.

I drew a line for you.

I love Brooke White's version of Yellow.

*****
I'm slightly annoyed with a friend of mine.

We were chatting online one day and she asked me when I'd be graduating.

"July 2009"
"Wow, so long"
*WTF, one year very long now is it?*
"Actually, come to think of it, one year isn't that long. Time flies pretty fast, anyway"
"When will you be finishing?"
"April 2010"
"Oh, I'd be done with my Masters in 2010 in September!"

You see. This friend of mine took Foundation in Business in December 2005 (like right after SPM). She just completed her diploma this year and now she's in Australia doing her degree. 2 and a half years.

Me? I took my Foundation in Arts in August 2005 (yeah, if I only didn't decide to wait for the UIAM matriculation offer like my mother insisted me to). Now I am doing my degree, well into my third year, almost done. By September next year, I'd be off to the UK to do my Masters and stalk my boys (hey, that was part of the agenda).

I mean, if you want to compare things with me, I'd be done with my degree before you.

I mean it's like that thing we learnt in CTS before.
"I have 5 apples and you have two books, which means I have more"

You're comparing on two different levels.

And if you want to compare things with me, make damn sure you know what you want to compare about, because I don't tolerate such petty things.

Just because you're already in Australia and doing YOUR degree, it doesn't mean that:
01. I am poor and I can't afford to go overseas to study because heck, I can! I just realised that we had a lot to spend on this year with the wedding and all, so I want to wait til next year.
02. you're ultimately the successful one amongst us. I am not belittling you, but seriously. You've just started doing your degree and I'm almost done.
03. one year to graduate is such a BLEEDING LONG TIME.

I could've told this to you in your face, but I am such a nice person and my mother taught me to be the better person, so I decided against it.

If you want to compare with me that you have a boyfriend and that I don't, it's fine with me.

But if you want to compare with me about education, just don't. Because I value education as much as I value guitars.

Because it hurts me to see someone smashing guitars or tossing it like it means nothing.

*****
I want to say something else, but it's long and just me sounding a little whiny. So, I'll keep that for another day.

I just discovered that a new tooth is growing on the upper part of the left side of my mouth. It's my wisdom tooth apparently.

I'm just a moment behind.

Do you know I have issues with every single radio station?

Every time I turn on the radio and one radio station is playing, say, No Air (good grief, that song is overplayed to the point my eardrums are bleeding!) and I start skipping channels until I find a station that's playing a nice tune. Then the song ends, and the same radio station plays No Air again.

AND IT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE HOUR!

*grumbles*

I think the only song I actually like to hear on the radio is I'm Yours. Magic Rainbow and Always Be My Baby too =p (yeah-lah I'm so biased).

*****
Does this sound absolutely strange to you?
I went into a jewellery store and ended up buying nothing.

You of all people know how I love shiny pretty things. I went there and got so repulsed by the plethora of studs/diamonds/jewels on EVERY SINGLE JEWELLERY PIECE, I didn't get anything.
Seriously, who knew you can go blind in a freaking jewellery store?

I saw a nice pair of earrings though, it's made of seashells.

My parents wanted me to get some nice jewellery for the wedding (they know I sort of like shiny pretty things too) and kept pestering me to get something.

"See anything you like?"
"No"
"What about this?"
"No, because the outfit I have for the wedding sort of takes away the attention from the jewellery because of the lace"
"So you don't want to wear any jewellery for the wedding?"

See how they twist my words so beautifully?

But seriously, me hating jewellery I used to consider beautiful?
My, my. How people change.

*****
This made me smile.

"Eh I've something to send you online. Where are you?"
"I'm out running some errands for the wedding and doing some shopping"
"Did you call Michael Johns?"
"HAHAHAHAHA!"

Even before you sent me those texts, I actually told my mum who was checking out some shoes that "I was supposed to call Michael Johns" and she laughed with me.

Oh Scouser, my mother wants Magic Rainbow at the wedding. She says it's not your wedding. HAHAHAHA!

You know what I really need?

No. Really.

Straddle the line, in discord and rhyme

Warning: This post contains profanities and excessive rants about stupid people. If you are under 17 and feel queasy about profanities, you know what button to click.

If there is one thing I cannot stand currently, it would be wolf-whistling.

Or cat calls. Or anything that is equivalent.

Why does it annoy the hell out of me?
Because I find it absolutely offensive and rude.

See, if you want to call someone (especially me), DO NOT FUCKING WHISTLE.

My mother gave me a name so use it please. Even if you pronounce my name wrongly, I will not hate you.

Say you don't know my name, call me 'Miss'. Not 'kakak' okay? I will kick you.

BUT FOR GOD'S SAKE, DO NOT WHISTLE/TAP THE TABLE/SNAP YOUR FINGERS WHEN YOU ARE CALLING ME!

I cannot stand it. Even when my mother taps her fingers on the table to call me, I start ranting like a mad woman.

The rudest thing I've ever seen is when someone starts snapping their fingers when they want to get their attention. Oi, don't you think those people deserve some amount of respect? You treat them like dirt and they might be less than hospitable with you. Trust me, the horrors of knowing people who work in the food industry and the things they do when they have customers from hell is one good reason to be nice to them.

And you know how when a guy sees a girl and he starts whistling at her?

DO NOT EVER FUCKING DO THAT TO ME.

I will give you the finger. No joke.

I was walking back to college after buying a drink when this van passes me by and the driver looks out of the window and looked at me with a smug grin across his face.

And then he stops.

I had a half a mind to turn around and use the other route back to college.

But I walked on. I have a right to take that route and that sad story of a man can't stop me.

Guess what the fucker did?

He whistled at me.

I ignored him and he kept on doing it.

Middle fingers, as if on cue, comes alive and stays upright.

Excuse me, I find it so degrading when a man does that.

What am I, a piece of meat? An object of your lust? Not a person with some degree of dignity?

Didn't your mother teach you manners? You're such a disappointment and disgrace to your family, you know?

I am no juicy piece of meat (woman, if you value your life, it's best if you kept your lips sealed). So when you ogle and whistle at me, it makes me feel embarrassed and stripped of any kind of dignity I have in me.

So don't ever whistle at me unless you want the finger.

*****
My mother is too funny.

"Wake up!"
"I'm up already"
"Germany beat Turkey 3-2"
"I know...Sylvien texted me"
"Oh she did?"
"Yeah, and she always feels like she's talking to a wall when she's watching the match and I'm fast asleep. I feel like a bad friend"
"Haha"
"You know Turkey played really well, they should be proud"

"You know what Sylvien said about the match?"
"No. What?"
"She said there was a blackout in the stadium"
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"It's such a shame that they weren't wearing glow-in-the-dark jerseys like the Chelsea ones. They could pass to one another and trick the opponents"
*dies laughing on the bed*
"Why are you laughing? I'm being serious, okay?"

And you wonder why I am quite random.

Friday, 13 June 2008

I will not stand in your way.

The last few days have been insane!

On Wednesday, I think I saw a dead body. I was in the car on the way home when I see a group of people on the side of the road looking rather anxious. I saw a silhouette of a man underneath an umbrella. I thought it was a worker taking a nap (since there was some construction work going on). I took a closer look from the car window, it was actually a man lying motionless, his eyes were wide open and not moving or blinking, and his mouth was dripping with blood. That just scared the living daylights out of me.

Thursday...what happened on Thursday? Oh yeah, Luiz Felipe Scolari was announced as the new Chelsea manager. There was no water in my housing area. Lucky for me, I could take a bath that morning. I had my quiz and came home and decided to dye my hair. Yes, we shall talk about that later. Then, as I was watching all the colour cascade down the sink, I put on the conditioner. And that's when the water begins to run out.

*water drips slowly*
*water supply dies*
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Like, really. Worst thing to ever happen when you're washing your hair.

So I ran from the master bedroom's bathroom to the other bathroom upstairs.

*water dies after 5 seconds*
"OHMYGOD NOT AGAIN!!!"

So I run to my room and throw on some clothes, while complaining to mate online (who somehow thought it was funny that I was complaining to her while I still have conditioner in my hair).

I ran to the bathroom downstairs, hoping that there would be some water. The shower had no water. But there was water coming out from the side tap. I spent like a good 30 minutes under the tap, trying to get my hair conditioner-free.

I have never seen my towel soaking wet before.

I watched the Croatia-Germany match with my dad and it was hilarious.
"I want Croatia to win"
"Cannot, they made England lose out*! Even though I think the manager is very handsome, you cannot support them"
"It's not a matter of whether I think the manager is handsome or not, it's about rooting for the underdogs!"

*I only said it because he usually is quite bitter about teams that beat England. I am not so bitter. My bitterness tastes strongest when I see Portugal.

And this was just funny.
*sees German manager*
"Eh that's Jose ah?"
*stares blankly*
"No-lah! That's the German manager, his name is Joachim Loew"
"Oh, looks very young"
"Yeah"
"He looks like he's under thirty. He looks good and dresses well"

Hahaha!

My mother was mean. She called my TV boyfriend a "small-time rocker".
"Your DC is a small-time rocker, not like Bo or Daughtry!"
"How dare you insult my TV boyfriend?"
"I am not talking to you! Hmmph, insult my boyfriend. HAH!"

Jealous, much?

Today, I had to go out to make some clothes, buy some stuff and get my keloid-shrinking jab. The last plan failed to materialise, because the doctor's office was closed. Apparently, some people *cough* my father *cough* forgot to check his operating hours on Fridays.

*going up the stairs to hell the doctor's office*
"Okay, there is no chance of me running down, because I'm in the middle of you two and you'd catch me if I try to escape"

Yeah, yeah. Pansy.

I saw a couple of skinny ties, but they were being sold at RM29.90 each! WTF. I need two.
Ugh, someone take me out to The Tie Shop now!

I am so tired. I need sleep. Tomorrow is going to be as taxing as today. I'll be out in my second home and the area surrounding it in the morning and I have a 21st birthday party to attend at night.

Viva la Espana! Go Oranje!

I have a confession, by the way.

I have a crush on this man.

His name is Slaven Bilic. He is the manager of the Croatian football team, a rockstar, has his own band called Rawbau, plays guitar, has a law degree; all of which make him almost incredibly endearing.

Why almost?

Bugger smokes-lah. WTF.

But he is ten kinds of awesome.

Go watch this video of their song for Croatia for the EURO 2008 campaign, Vatreno Ludilo.

No, I have not betrayed my TV boyfriend (you do realise he is called TV boyfriend for a reason, right?).

I'm just trying not to bore you to death about him because the majority of the people who read this dislike him.

On another random but related note to the picture above, I heard the studio version on the radio and I started squealing because I didn't expect to hear THAT song on the radio! Everyone and their cats know I love that version.

That just made my night.

Little things make me happy.

There is no four leaf clover, try again.

Today was fucking awful.

Yes, be surprised. I swore.

I don't want to talk about it.

I am skipping dinner because I am not a happy camper.

The low blood pressure symptoms are back. Oh joy.

I cried too much in one day. I had a breakdown. Wah, I sound human for once-lah kan?
*roll eyes*

Listening to this song just hit me. I never paid much attention to it, it wasn't one of my favourite songs.

But today, I realised how this song is exactly the summary of my fucking feelings today.

Hold - Axium
Takes a number, stands in line
'cause he doesn't feel like himself
And he's always played the wallflower
just cared for a sense of self
He plays on in spite of everything
disillusioned by his right
What makes it all go away
when you can't put up a fight, can't put up a fight?

Oh, but it's okay to breathe
your worries away
when everything and everyone try to lead you astray
Hold your own, hold your ground,
hold to life when you're down,
and always believe that there's a way back home

She's waiting on the answer,
a way to let them know
The thought of someone else inside her,
and the fear begins to grow
Warm tears feed dry hands
as she falls to the ground
It's strange how sadness presents itself
when there's no one around,
there's no one around

Oh, but it's okay to breathe
your worries away
when everything and everyone try to lead you astray
Hold your own, hold your ground,
hold to life when you're down,
and always believe that there's a way back home.

Judge me all you want. But you want to know something?
We're all fucking actors in a play on a stage.

Don't you dare think you are higher than me because between you and me, there's not much of a difference really.

We are all innocent.

Now don't you wait or hesitate.

I am complaining a lot about rather random things of late.

TM's latest advert is the recent thing that sort of pisses me off.

It shows a man orchestrating a crowd to chant loudly for their favourite teams for EURO 2008. I can't remember the campaign.

Now really? What happened to supporting your local team?

Are we really going to glorify ANOTHER COUNTRY'S TEAM INSTEAD OF OUR OWN?

Of all the people, you'd least expect people like TM to actually advocate these things.

Yes, I know. Our national team is nothing to be shouted and glorified about, but still.

DECLARE YOUR LOYALTY FOR ANOTHER COUNTRY?

I may sound like a hypocrite to you.
Hey, for your information, I do actually support Selangor, okay.
No matter how screwed up our country's football is, I do still have my loyalty to that team.

I better stop now. The powers that be in TM actually hates me. My parents have been complaining and writing letters to some government body about TM's services and they have been calling TM like EVERYDAY about my faulty phone service AND screwed up Internet services.

Buggers got time to ask people to declare their loyalty for other countries' football teams but NOT to look into people's complaints.

I hereby declare my loyalty to my PASAR RANGERS.

Is it possible to hate someone you love so much with a burning passion?

*****
Oh and I salute her. Big time.

Her collection and devotion leaves me in awe.

*bows down to her*

She may be crazy. But I adore her.

*****
This is hilarious.

"You know what? I went to church with my family the other day and my sister sat next to me, my mother and my grandmother"
"Then while the pastor was giving the sermon, she says 'Oh goodness, you know how DC holds the microphone right? If he holds and caresses it like that, he would do the same to his lover too!'. My grandmother looked at us and said 'Hush, child, we're in church!'. I wanted to laugh out loud but I was too embarrassed"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"I felt so horrible. I mean you're in a place of worship which is supposed to be holy and all, and she feeds you filthy thoughts, how would you react?"
"I can actually see you blushing at the thought"
"I KNOW, OKAY? You know what my mother said?"
"What did Auntie Sheen say?"
"HELL YEAH!"
"She said hell in church?"
"YES!"
"I love your family, you know?"
"You'd love my grandmother for what she said after we came home from church"
"This is going to be good"
"Honey, I heard his version of Music of the Night, and I have to tell you, I've never felt so caressed and touched like this before"
O.O
"She said that in front of my grandfather okay? OMG I couldn't take the madness anymore"
"Your grandmother's a cougar"
"Sad but true"
"Your grandmother is my favourite person of all-time right now"
"At the rate I'm going, I am going to turn into a cougar too"
"Hahaha! Cougar May, reporting for duty!"
"Shut up"

For my cougar-in-training, just because I love to torment you. Haha.

I remember losing hope.

At the rate things are going, with the oil prices going up...I am pretty sure the price of gas wiil go up, which will eventually lead to the price hikes in food and beverages as well.

So will the price of electricity too.

I can foresee my mother's book-wrapping fee going up as well. Yes, my mother charges me a fee to wrap my books. She wants to be paid 25 cents extra now.

Basically everything will go up.

Leaving burnt holes in the pockets of my jackets and pants.

Bloody hell, how-lah now? EVERY BLOODY THING IS GOING UP.

I cannot survive the price hikes. I am going to starve.

I am announcing that I am going to be a fruitarian.

If you don't know what that means, go watch Notting Hill. You will understand my point of converting into a fruitarian.

Let's all eat grass and copulate with engineers now, shall we?

Let's all copulate with engineers.

Warning: I am not feeling happy. I haven't been taking my Happyzacs lately. So sorry if I offended you. The 'X' button is up there if you can't tolerate me or my ramblings.

So yesterday, I was somewhat reunited with one of my ex-classmates online, thanks to the intervention of another classmate of mine. We talked about life, studies and everyone's favourite four-letter word...

LOVE.

Like what we used to do in school, we teased each other about having boyfriends. One of us said that she feels sad she has no boyfriend, to which I said "It's okay, let's enjoy singledom while the right one comes along".

Since another one is leaving to Australia in July, this same friend told her not to go after Aussie guys and make them potential boyfriends (give me a Mikey Johns, Toby Rand or Curtis Stone any day and I'd die a happy woman, pretty much).

They then kept prodding me about my boyfriend. At that point, I asked mate if I should notify them of the existence of my TV boyfriend. She said no, because they might go gaga over him. True, since TV boyfriend is somewhat precious to me.

I don't know how we switched from talking about boyfriends to getting married.

They began asking questions like "When are you getting married?", "What kind of job would your husband have?" and "How old should your husband be?".

They began stating that they want to get married when they are 26 onwards. And they both want engineer husbands.
"Engineers make good husbands"

They noticed how quiet I was (more because I was clearly uninterested in the topic) so they asked me the same question.

I had half a mind to answer "Oh I want a rockstar husband and I'll get married when I am 30 and have five kids and two dogs with him".

But the logical side of me waved aside that idea, so being the hapless romantic that I am, I said "I wouldn't to marry someone because of their job statuses, I'd rather marry them for who they are on the inside".

Wah...so deep right?

They agreed with me and I could tell they sensed my slight annoyance, they shifted to an entirely new topic.

I don't like talking about marriage now, especially when it's not my time to even think about it.
"You marry your books!"

I probably am being the only romantic lovefool in my class then and now, as every time people would bring up the issue of "Was your parents' marriage based on love or was it arranged?", I would answer 'love' and their reactions would somewhat surprise me.

Don't get me wrong, I have thought about my dream wedding.
Champagne gold-coloured gown, rockstar husband, Bali beachside wedding, garden reception, watched only by close friends and relatives.

It's just that I don't have time to think about this when there are more things to worry about...like "Will I graduate on time?", "Where to go next?", and "How many days til I leave KL?".

Or even "Will I ever be somebody in their eyes?".

My MSN display name has the numbers "525,600". What do those numbers mean?

Those are how many minutes you have in a year.

I learnt from many people close to me who have passed away that "Make every minute count".

So that's what I'm doing.
I am not going to worry about how great engineers are as husbands.
I am not going to worry about how sad my life is because I don't have a boyfriend.
I am not going to worry about how old I'll be when I get married.

Because I want to make every minute count by not wasting precious time worrying about these grouses.

On another note, I accidentally called this guy who is trying to get my attention/love 'boyfriend' this morning.

I don't want to cry, but the tears are there.

You'll always be the one that got away.

Okay, so this morning I managed to speak to my wonderful best friend in Russia.

And guess what she told me?

She told me that the venue of the UEFA Champions League final was RIGHT BEHIND HER HOSTEL.

AND...

She took a photo with Petr Cech.

0_0

She supports Manchester United. And she takes a picture with MY goalie.

Do you know how insanely jealous I am of her right now?

*****
I want to talk to you about my TV boyfriend.

I don't care if I promised to shut up about him.

I really don't care.

Oooh, cupcakes!

Because he makes me happy.
He is my muse.

He is worth my time. Even if he is *coughs* dating someone *coughs*.

Like I said, he is my TV boyfriend. Who needs a real-life boyfriend when I have him?

Ah well, you can choose not to come here until I stop being obsessed about him or until I find a real-life boyfriend.

I won't stop, you know me. If you don't know me by now, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Just too adorable.

Boyfriend, you are just precious.

Quote of the week:
"You know what happened? I plopped myself in front of the TV at my brother's place today at 6PM. My sister-in-law told me that American Idol is over. I so forgot about that"
"Hahaha! Oh goodness, that's hilarious!!!"
"Oh my God, my life is officially over. I have nothing to stare at now"

And you thought I'd be having post-Idol withdrawal syndrome.

Pfft.

I better get back to work with my assignment. Shall show you the outcome later.

This happened much too soon.

I hate myself. I don't know why I feel like there is a need for perfection in everything I do.

Even the way my room is arranged has to follow some kind of order. I can tell if something was removed from its premises. I am quite meticulous when it comes to little things like where that particular tube of lotion is kept in my dressing table.

I don't know why I am vain either. No one is ever going to look at the massive being that sits on my left arm which is called a keloid. So why in the name of holy dreadlocks do I need to be jabbed incessantly to flatten it?

We do the most ridiculous things to impress every Ali, Ah Beng, and Anand that we know, so that we feel good about ourselves.

We dye our hair pink.
We wear contacts with pictures of the Big Ben.
We pierce random body parts.

We say it's a fashion statement, it's a matter of whether you stand out in a crowd or not.

Why is it so important to give in what people expect of you? Can't we just be happy with the way we look at ourselves in the mirror the first thing in the morning?

I am sorry, I am just grumpy. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and people have been rubbing me the wrong way the whole day. Save a certain few people.

He makes me feel even more screwed up than I already am.

The only highlight of my screwed up day was the lunch with mate because she would listen to my stupid ramblings of David, Michael and Chelsea because no one else cares.

Yeah, I better go now. I need to calm down and think happy thoughts.

Fly away...

Okay. The last couple of days have been just great. Tomorrow is going to be bad, I know. Keloid jab number 4. I am so flipping scared now...I need someone to hold my hand and wipe my tears, please?

Fine, just someone to hold my hand would do. I don't cry over injections. Just whimper.

I am being lazy in not updating here because I have tonnes of things to do (yes, staring at David Cook is considered as having tonnes of things to do).

But no worries, I'll be back before you know it, so don't miss me =)

Nah, just in case you do. More of David Cook goodness.

Yes, please make fun of me. I fail in life because I can't ride a bicycle. Or cook.

*slobbers all over the keyboard*

OhmyGod, his feet are like my brother's! Why is he getting skinnier now? =(

Lucky dolphin, you.

*swoons* Why are you so pretty? And good-looking? And just absolutely hilarious?

My mother thinks you're not funny. Pfft, what does she know? I think you AARRRRRRRRRRRE!

Shut up, manslut-worshipper.

I am only doing this so that I will worry about tomorrow's keloid jab when the time comes.

I'm so scared, hold me.

And to my 17 years, you will be pleased to hear that Operation Chocolate Chip Cookies (CCC) will commence this Thursday or Friday. I shall let you know the outcome and save some for you.

I saw Tomas on the telly before they showed the Liverpool match...and my God, I missed him. Get better soon, okay?

AND I HATE CHELSEA'S NEW HOME KIT. ARGH!

I'll be off now and oh, I need four songs more to make my David Cook album collection complete. 5 out of 6 albums in the bag. If I get the 4 songs, life would just wonderful.
