Sing it with me.

Dear Dang Sylvien @ mate,

I hope you haven't melted after seeing Michael Phelps' abs of steel.

Where are you? Why are you hiding from me? Are you secretly posting up that ugly gayboy's poster you took down recently and not telling me?

No longer convinced my house is possessed,
-me-

*****
So yes, I know I was being paranoid. My house is not possessed.

Are you happy I confessed to being paranoid already?

We should throw a party.

Has the world not seen enough of Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers?

I feel like turning my TV and radio off when I hear all their songs. Maybe it's just me.

I was practising my guitar yesterday and this old Westlife song was being played on the radio. It made me cringe thinking "I used to listen to this and love the music they make, oh my God". I must add that I still remember the words to that cheesy song. Shameful but true. And I hate it when I go to Parkson in OneU, they play the same Westlife album over and over again. I mean, isn't there another CD they can pop in? I'd be shaking my head everytime I go there and my mother knows all too well.
"I'm not asking them to play the other half of you-know-what-I-call-them. Just play something different"

Maybe if I was 10 or something, I'd believe that the world revolved around Miley Cyrus, High School Musical and the Jonas Brothers and idolise them sempiternally. But sadly, I am not 10, but 20 and horribly old.

I guess we just go through a phase in life where we get exposed to different kinds of music. I like the different genres of music except maybe a bit of techno and Japanese music. I find the resurgence of old boybands highly amusing too. Take That is fine because eventhough their music sounds very, very morose, I can tolerate that.

Do we still get to call them boybands since they are old in their mid-30s and they are no longer considered as boys?
Then again, manband would sound very odd.

We all go through a phase where we experiment the different kinds of music there are out there. I listened to rap when I was 13, then I started listening to rock music when I was sixteen or so (rock became a huge part in my life when I turned 18), but pop played a major part of my life because I grew up with that music (Michael Jackson was one, he was after all, the King of Pop).

If you asked me now how much of pop music I listen to, I'd tell you that it's a very limited playlist when it comes to pop. Well, maybe it's because all my pop songs are stashed in my dead PC. Haha.

But still, I cannot take it when all I hear on the radio are these artistes that come out from the Disney Channel. I don't like the Jonas Brothers because they made a remake of this song I liked called Year 3000 from Busted (I blame May for all the Brit music influences in my life). The original song itself is hilarious, but then they changed it and I didn't quite like their version.

Yes, I realise I am rambling so I might as well shut up.

*****
Say what you want about Magic Rainbow, but the more I hear it, the more I like it. Contrary to what Skizzy said earlier in one post about my hating the song, I like the song a lot more than I used to, it's sort of grown on me.

Go on and make fun of me. I dare you.

*****
My mother is so amusing it makes me cry thinking about next year or the year after that.

I know she'll come with me (she wants to stalk old grumpy frumpy Fergie) and all, but still. The thought of leaving home does scare me.

Almost everyday, she will come and ask me "Do you have a boyfriend?" and everytime I say no, she says "You will tell me when you have one, right?".

One day, while waiting for her to pick me up, I was just talking to a guy friend of mine who was also waiting for his parents. Almost two hours after we came home, she came into my room and asked me "That guy you were talking to just now...is he your boyfriend?".

-.-' Every guy I talk to now is my boyfriend-lah, is it?

"No, he's a guy who is my friend whom I see as an older brother. That's it. Ma, don't worry, if I do have a boyfriend, which will be very much later in life, I will tell you first, okay? And I will bring him home to meet the both of you instead of having a shotgun wedding"

She laughed and nodded. She knows my take on my brother's wedding so it's all good.

But she does not think my boyfriend is sexy (this came after a long and lengthy conversation about Avril's concert being postponed or cancelled or whatever that's going to happen to it, and what would happen if the said boyfriend wanted to come here).

How dare she say that. Hmmph. Boo her.

And today she was surprised that my phone bill was less than hers. Mine went down by a whole 50%.
"How can that happen? It's a miracle. What did you do?"

Just got to love her.

I need to get back on my guitar now. Toodles.

One day, I'm gonna do a Britney.

You heard me.

I'm going to shave my head bald one day.

I was just yelling about how unforgiving the weather has been lately and I ended my long rant with a "I WANT TO CUT MY HAIR" remark in front of my father. In return, he gave me a rather strange look which I could not comprehend.

Then, later he mentions about getting his hair cut and again I jumped in and asked if I could cut my hair.

"No"
O_O
"Why not?"
"I like your hair like this"

So I came home and had my usual 12AM pillow talk with number two.
"I just asked my dad about the haircut and he said no because he likes my hair like this"
"He's right"
O_O
"I like it that way, frames your face perfectly"
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE AND LONG HAIR? DO YOU KNOW HOW HOT THE WEATHER IS?"
"No need to yell at me. We love you and want the best for you...even if it includes your langsuir-like hair"
"Oh, you're such a charming bitch"
"You love me, nonetheless"
"Yes, Dave. I love you"
"Quit calling me Dave!"

Seriously, one of these days, I'm going to do a Britney and shave all my hair off and sell it to charity.

I mean, do you not like my hair like that? Please note that this picture was taken two years ago and I look NOTHING like that anymore.

Tomorrow is going to be insane. As it is, I think I'm already insane (no, no...being insanely in love with you-know-who does not count) with all the wedding tensions going on, some of which had led me to be slightly depressed and skipping meals.

Pray that the ceremony goes as perfectly and smoothly as possible.
Pray that the journey to Seremban will not be dampened by rain.
Pray that the photos I take will turn out beautiful.

You will not see me cry at a wedding. Because I am awesome, like that. Plus I don't want to smudge my make-up with my tears, I can foresee my mother engaging in a creative verbal discussion if that should take place.

*rolls eyes*

Seriously, I think it's funny to cry at a wedding. I already told my brother that if I end up laughing while blessing the couple on the dais, he shouldn't hold it against me.

Yes, yes. Go on, say it. I am an idiot.
Tell me something I don't know already.

You lovely people have a great Sunday now.

Sunday, 6 July 2008

Someday I'll be on top, high above you all.

Short update to say a few things.

01. I was crying non-stop the whole of yesterday. It wasn't pretty, I was switching from crying to being a grumpy cow with people. To make matters worse, listening to Michael Johns made me cry. I mean I was crying to David's takes on Always Be My Baby and I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and I'm used to it already, but honestly. Crying to Michael Johns? Good lord, that was strange. A few things that transpired between my mother and I caused this rather weird irrigation system in my eyes. Will only talk about it if asked by people I consider close enough to let them in on this issue.

02. I have been eyeing this diamond necklace worth RM398 I saw in Bangsar Village 2 for the last one month. On Friday, I was rather excited about the necklace so I joked with my mother saying that she'll buy it for me. Yesterday, we got to the shop and asked the staff to take the LAST necklace (they only had five of it) and my parents asked me if I wanted it. Guess what I said?

I said NO.

They were taken aback and told me to reconsider.

I told them "Okay fine, let me go into the shoe shop next door to prevent myself from being influenced by other things here".

I did that and started texting my 17 years.
"So I'm at the shop and they're getting me the necklace I was bitching to you about"
"And you're getting it? Yay you!"
"I said NO"
"The fuck did you do that for woman?"
"I just realised I don't need it anymore"
"Is it because you feel like you're costing your parents money on this when they're spending a lot for the wedding?"
"No, you know they wouldn't mind about that. How do you think I got the white gold ring I wear lately?"
"It's because of what your mother said, right? That's got to be why you fucking said no to a necklace worth that much!"
"Yes...no...maybe. I don't know. Partly, I guess"
"So you're saying no?"
"Yes, I'm saying I don't want it"
"Jesus, woman. You've been holding out for a month for that elusive thing and now when someone wants to get it for you, you're saying no?"
"Yes"
"Damn, bless your husband with utter patience and strength to handle you. It's amazing how I am able to stand your madness for 17 years"
"You love me, that's why"
"Talk to you later, sweets. Yau char kuay later?"
"You bet"

I went back into the shop and told my parents and the staff there very bravely:
"It's okay. I don't want it. I'm sure of it, so don't ask me again"

So yeah, I said no to something I had my eyes on for one month. You must be thinking I am crazy. Or smart. Or both.

03. I had no idea that David Cook's camera face began from the Top 24. You know, the time where he had that hair I hated to bits because it was long and too god-damn straight? It's amazing to see that progression. Like what mate said once about his hair: "From rocker hair to 'ah beng' hair to gentleman's hair". Hahaha! Seriously, go watch his performance of Happy Together in YouTube and compare it with uh...say...Always Be My Baby or The World I Know. You will understand our views on his 'ah beng' hair.

04. Oh my god. Gordon Ramsay was at the British GP and he supports McLaren! OMG HE SUPPORTS BOTH MY TEAMS! HE SUPPORTS CHELSEA AND MCLAREN MERCEDES!

I squealed when I saw him in front of my dad. That was amusing albeit a little embarrassing. Hello, squealing at a man who is like forty-something in front of your father is strange. EXTREMELY.

05. Lewis won on home soil! OMG I was so happy for him and I nearly cried seeing the elation etched on his pretty face. It reminded me of the day David won. The tears were there and seeing them speak after being on such a high and having the time of their lives (pun intentionally intended) made me want to hug my TV screen and not let go.

06. And Felipe Massa almost killed a rabbit off the track! As did Lewis. Have mercy on those poor bunnies! But you have to admit, it was quite amusing to see the rabbits running off the grassy side of the track when the cars came swerving at them.

07. I learnt that when you're upset, the best song to make you smile when you're unhappy is "Hungry Like The Wolf". You know which version. Haha.

08. Exams begin tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I will be away and probably not going to update until next Monday, which is when my last paper is over.

In case you miss me, which is highly unlikely, go listen to lots of Paolo Nutini, David Cook, Axium, MidWest Kings and Michael Johns. And whatever you know I listen to.

OR...GO WATCH THIS.
PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION AT 1:30 ONWARDS.

Oh, you know what I'm thinking.

And to think I said this was a short update. Pfft.

Hate floods my body and thoughts cloud my mind.

The cat is out of the bag. It's going to scratch you in the face. Please don't ask me anything about this cat. Go ask my parents or my brother, thanks very much. I'm not liable for whatever they have planned.

I am away. Studying. No shit, Sherlock.

I managed to complete three chapters from the Social Psych textbook. Another two to go.

Can you people please be proud that I actually am studying and NOT stalking some person?

Well, there are the occassional moments of spazzing out due to a massive overdose of 'magic rainbow' on the radio. BUT IT DOESN'T COUNT!

And then there was that major gem of a song beautiful song called Always Be My Baby (THE version I love) being played on the radio. I screamed at my Scouser, who actually screamed with me this time and didn't grumble. I couldn't stop smiling after that because it was rather unexpected to hear it on the radio again.

A few days ago, I was thinking about the friends who will be going overseas soon. I realised that in a year's time, I won't be here too. It makes me feel a whole bunch of things.

FINE.
Freaked out. Insecure. Neurotic. Emotional.

I can't wait. And you know what?

I'm going to miss my parents the most.
Especially my mother.
She's my gossipping partner, my football partner, my glee face twin, my random magic rainbow crooner.
Everything.

I told her "When I go, you won't have anyone to talk about American Idol with or fight with anymore".
She told me "Good-lah, by then I'd have a grandchild and I'd be preoccupied, won't have to think about fighting with you".

I have made up my mind. ABMB is the theme song of my life. Maybe quite possibly, my mother's too.

I might be going to Pangkor in August after the madness and all.
Hope that pans out the way I want it to.

I will not stand in your way.

The last few days have been insane!

On Wednesday, I think I saw a dead body. I was in the car on the way home when I see a group of people on the side of the road looking rather anxious. I saw a silhouette of a man underneath an umbrella. I thought it was a worker taking a nap (since there was some construction work going on). I took a closer look from the car window, it was actually a man lying motionless, his eyes were wide open and not moving or blinking, and his mouth was dripping with blood. That just scared the living daylights out of me.

Thursday...what happened on Thursday? Oh yeah, Luiz Felipe Scolari was announced as the new Chelsea manager. There was no water in my housing area. Lucky for me, I could take a bath that morning. I had my quiz and came home and decided to dye my hair. Yes, we shall talk about that later. Then, as I was watching all the colour cascade down the sink, I put on the conditioner. And that's when the water begins to run out.

*water drips slowly*
*water supply dies*
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Like, really. Worst thing to ever happen when you're washing your hair.

So I ran from the master bedroom's bathroom to the other bathroom upstairs.

*water dies after 5 seconds*
"OHMYGOD NOT AGAIN!!!"

So I run to my room and throw on some clothes, while complaining to mate online (who somehow thought it was funny that I was complaining to her while I still have conditioner in my hair).

I ran to the bathroom downstairs, hoping that there would be some water. The shower had no water. But there was water coming out from the side tap. I spent like a good 30 minutes under the tap, trying to get my hair conditioner-free.

I have never seen my towel soaking wet before.

I watched the Croatia-Germany match with my dad and it was hilarious.
"I want Croatia to win"
"Cannot, they made England lose out*! Even though I think the manager is very handsome, you cannot support them"
"It's not a matter of whether I think the manager is handsome or not, it's about rooting for the underdogs!"

*I only said it because he usually is quite bitter about teams that beat England. I am not so bitter. My bitterness tastes strongest when I see Portugal.

And this was just funny.
*sees German manager*
"Eh that's Jose ah?"
*stares blankly*
"No-lah! That's the German manager, his name is Joachim Loew"
"Oh, looks very young"
"Yeah"
"He looks like he's under thirty. He looks good and dresses well"

Hahaha!

My mother was mean. She called my TV boyfriend a "small-time rocker".
"Your DC is a small-time rocker, not like Bo or Daughtry!"
"How dare you insult my TV boyfriend?"
"I am not talking to you! Hmmph, insult my boyfriend. HAH!"

Jealous, much?

Today, I had to go out to make some clothes, buy some stuff and get my keloid-shrinking jab. The last plan failed to materialise, because the doctor's office was closed. Apparently, some people *cough* my father *cough* forgot to check his operating hours on Fridays.

*going up the stairs to hell the doctor's office*
"Okay, there is no chance of me running down, because I'm in the middle of you two and you'd catch me if I try to escape"

Yeah, yeah. Pansy.

I saw a couple of skinny ties, but they were being sold at RM29.90 each! WTF. I need two.
Ugh, someone take me out to The Tie Shop now!

I am so tired. I need sleep. Tomorrow is going to be as taxing as today. I'll be out in my second home and the area surrounding it in the morning and I have a 21st birthday party to attend at night.

Viva la Espana! Go Oranje!

I have a confession, by the way.

I have a crush on this man.

His name is Slaven Bilic. He is the manager of the Croatian football team, a rockstar, has his own band called Rawbau, plays guitar, has a law degree; all of which make him almost incredibly endearing.

Why almost?

Bugger smokes-lah. WTF.

But he is ten kinds of awesome.

Go watch this video of their song for Croatia for the EURO 2008 campaign, Vatreno Ludilo.

No, I have not betrayed my TV boyfriend (you do realise he is called TV boyfriend for a reason, right?).

I'm just trying not to bore you to death about him because the majority of the people who read this dislike him.

On another random but related note to the picture above, I heard the studio version on the radio and I started squealing because I didn't expect to hear THAT song on the radio! Everyone and their cats know I love that version.

That just made my night.

Little things make me happy.

Let's all copulate with engineers.

Warning: I am not feeling happy. I haven't been taking my Happyzacs lately. So sorry if I offended you. The 'X' button is up there if you can't tolerate me or my ramblings.

So yesterday, I was somewhat reunited with one of my ex-classmates online, thanks to the intervention of another classmate of mine. We talked about life, studies and everyone's favourite four-letter word...

LOVE.

Like what we used to do in school, we teased each other about having boyfriends. One of us said that she feels sad she has no boyfriend, to which I said "It's okay, let's enjoy singledom while the right one comes along".

Since another one is leaving to Australia in July, this same friend told her not to go after Aussie guys and make them potential boyfriends (give me a Mikey Johns, Toby Rand or Curtis Stone any day and I'd die a happy woman, pretty much).

They then kept prodding me about my boyfriend. At that point, I asked mate if I should notify them of the existence of my TV boyfriend. She said no, because they might go gaga over him. True, since TV boyfriend is somewhat precious to me.

I don't know how we switched from talking about boyfriends to getting married.

They began asking questions like "When are you getting married?", "What kind of job would your husband have?" and "How old should your husband be?".

They began stating that they want to get married when they are 26 onwards. And they both want engineer husbands.
"Engineers make good husbands"

They noticed how quiet I was (more because I was clearly uninterested in the topic) so they asked me the same question.

I had half a mind to answer "Oh I want a rockstar husband and I'll get married when I am 30 and have five kids and two dogs with him".

But the logical side of me waved aside that idea, so being the hapless romantic that I am, I said "I wouldn't to marry someone because of their job statuses, I'd rather marry them for who they are on the inside".

Wah...so deep right?

They agreed with me and I could tell they sensed my slight annoyance, they shifted to an entirely new topic.

I don't like talking about marriage now, especially when it's not my time to even think about it.
"You marry your books!"

I probably am being the only romantic lovefool in my class then and now, as every time people would bring up the issue of "Was your parents' marriage based on love or was it arranged?", I would answer 'love' and their reactions would somewhat surprise me.

Don't get me wrong, I have thought about my dream wedding.
Champagne gold-coloured gown, rockstar husband, Bali beachside wedding, garden reception, watched only by close friends and relatives.

It's just that I don't have time to think about this when there are more things to worry about...like "Will I graduate on time?", "Where to go next?", and "How many days til I leave KL?".

Or even "Will I ever be somebody in their eyes?".

My MSN display name has the numbers "525,600". What do those numbers mean?

Those are how many minutes you have in a year.

I learnt from many people close to me who have passed away that "Make every minute count".

So that's what I'm doing.
I am not going to worry about how great engineers are as husbands.
I am not going to worry about how sad my life is because I don't have a boyfriend.
I am not going to worry about how old I'll be when I get married.

Because I want to make every minute count by not wasting precious time worrying about these grouses.

On another note, I accidentally called this guy who is trying to get my attention/love 'boyfriend' this morning.

I don't want to cry, but the tears are there.

She hit the floor.

Excuse my stupid entry yesterday, I was "being a pansy like the gayboy" (quoting my beloved Scouser).

The jab actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It didn't hurt as much as I expected it to, but it hurt anyway.

The doctor casually looked at the keloid and said at the most, I needed to come for another two visits. I winced as he got the needle out of the keloid and asked "So I have to come again next month?" while making weird faces at him.

As if on cue, my doctor sensed my discomfort of having to face needles.
"Yes. To tell you the truth I hate giving people injections, but I can't help it, I have to"

That comforted me a little and it reminded me of what my annoying Scouser said to me when I was panicking.
"Woman, stop being a pansy like Ronaldo ah? It's not the doctor's fault he's giving you a jab. It's his job. Plus YOU asked for the treatment, so it's YOUR fault"

Awesome morale booster, no?

I found the materials for the wedding already. A red one and the other is green.

Surprise, surprise. No blue. Be proud for me-lah, you eejit.

I bought a new Chelsea FC tee and the father got himself an Arsenal tee.
Then, last night, the mother comes into my room and tells me this.
"You know that old man wants me to have the T-shirt because he wants me to be an Arsenal fan"

OMG HAHAHAHA! I thank God that I didn't spit out my yoghurt at the laptop. So hilarious.

*****
I am going to do something completely inappropriate. Forgive me.

Seriously, how can you NOT have thoughts looking at THIS pic?
*mind wanders off somewhere else*

I dislike this hairstyle. Boys should always stay far, far away from the straightening iron. Yes, even David Cook isn't exempted from this rule, no matter how sempiternally immaculate he is.

He's got really pretty eyes for a boy. See, it looks brown here!

Oh yes, just SEXY.

Such artistic genius.

I still think he did AWESOME tonight. I don't care what people say about the songs he did, I think he nailed it.

Out of the 500 songs the contestants had to pick from, I picked 30 possible songs that he'd sing.

And guess what? Both the songs he sang were on the list.

For the first time, I correctly predicted his songs (Music of the Night doesn't really count, we said it was going to be something from The Phantom of the Opera).

You're not the only one who's psychic! Hah!

Okay, I just fainted watching this. Watch from 0:09-0:15
(trust me, you won't regret it).

Oh my holy toe socks. I just peed in my pants thanks to the hotness. That was just fucking hot. DAVID, WHY IN THE NAME OF HASH BROWNS DID YOU NOT DO THIS WHEN YOU PERFORMED? I WOULD HAVE MELTED INTO A STICKY PUDDLE OF MESS!!!

I still think the other David looks like he's 10. I am serious, because as far as I am concerned, the only 17-year-old boy I fancy looks hotter and more mature than Archie does (I'm talking about Gareth Bale).

Cookie shall be safe tomorrow. I know of it.

Friday, 2 May 2008

Blue is the colour. Indefinitely.

I meant to post earlier, but I was too elated for words to say, all I did was cry.

Last week, I said I smelt Moscow. Today, I knew I wasn't wrong.

I woke up at 2:20AM with Michael Johns serenading me, telling me to "Dream On". I got to the living room with David (name has been changed due to constant whining of a certain member of society). I was alone.

I went to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee which the mother made (she asked me the night before if I was staying up to watch the match and if I wanted a pot of coffee).

I sat there with David on my lap, talking to Renny online. The match made me tense, at one point I felt like I couldn't breathe.

Didi missed a glorious opportunity to score and I started yelling loudly at the TV.

At that point, the father woke up and came down to watch the match with me. My screams woke him up =/

And then he started saying how much he wanted Chelsea to win because Liverpool ruined Arsenal's season (or something like that). That's a first.

And then the brother came down and headed straight for the kitchen. As soon as he came out of the kitchen, Didi scored.

The brother got mad with his team and ran off to continue sleeping.

Score: 1-0. Aggregate: 2-1.

Almost reaching Moscow. Or so I thought.

Nando Torres had to score for Liverpool.

Score: 1-1. Aggregate: 2-2.

I almost burst into tears because we were the better side, we deserved it. We were THIS close of Moscow and glory, I didn't want it to be taken away like that.

I feared a penalty shoot-out would seal our fate.

Renny and I began praying to Lampsy's mother to ask her to help our boys once more.

I got hungry and the father was happily munching on something, forgetting to offer me some of it. Hmmph. Stingy uncle. When I'm nervous I either eat or bite my nails, like crazy. So, that was how nervous I was.

And then, he starts talking about Arsenal and the what could've beens for them. Somehow I don't know where the January transfer season topic came into the picture. I love him, he's so random.

Thank God for extra time.

I honestly was sobbing when Lampsy took the penalty and scored it. I cried. He dedicated it to his mother, which was sweet and lovely. I just had to cry.

And then Didi scores another. I started sobbing. In front of my dad, which is VERY strange. I yelled "MOSCOW! WE'RE GOING TO MOSCOW!" out of pure elation.

Score: 3-1. Aggregate: 4-2.

Oh dear, I got scared when Babel scored for Liverpool a few minutes before the whistle was blown.

Score: 3-2. Aggregate: 4-3.

The final whistle was finally blown, and I have never cried this much for a football match. I was too happy.

I called my trusted 17 years also known as the eejit to say "This could be our year".

My Liverpool kawan told me hours before the match:
"No matter what happens during the match and which team wins, Man United must be stopped"

They will be. Moscow will be painted blue.

Blue is the colour, football is our game,
We're all together, and winning is our aim,
So cheer us on through the sun and rain,
'Cause Chelsea, Chelsea is our name.

I have to say I am sorry to my friends who support Liverpool, you all do realise I am a closet Liverpool fan so it means I care about you and your team.

And I got really mad at the commentator for saying that ugly Grant did what Jose couldn't do. What the hell was that about? This is the team Jose left him with (save Nicolas Anelka), they are STILL Jose's boys! NOT AVRAM GRANT'S!

DAMN YOU TO HELL, YOU STUPID COMMENTATOR!

Even the father said "Actually they don't really need ugly Grant to coach them, they have everything they know and learnt from Jose so they are capable of doing it on their own". See, I knew he had a soft spot for Jose after all.

MOSCOW. MOSCOW. MOSCOW.

Right, so can someone buy me a ticket to Moscow then? I can go hook up with my Russian spy/best friend there! Whee!

DONATE TO MY "LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR KE MOSCOW" FUND GENEROUSLY, PLEASE.

I love my boys, I am so proud of them too =)

I love Chelsea FC, David Cook and toe socks. Not in that exact order.

In her mind, she's blinded by all she sees.

It's 12:45PM here and all I want to do is go back to bed and continue sleeping.

I was supposed to go out and break my wallet today, but something was wrong with the car so it has been postponed to either tomorrow or Wednesday.

OH PLEASE LET IT BE TOMORROW!
I WANT TO WATCH AMERICAN IDOL!

I tell you, the only shows I watch nowadays are American Idol and the news. Yes, that's what my assignments have done to me.

*prays hard*

So how did my exams go? It went okay, I guess. I don't know.

I do have an interesting story to tell you about my Abnormal Psychology paper on Saturday, though.

You see, on our exam dockets, they only state the starting time of the exam. My Abnormal Psychology paper starts at 9. So being the genius that I am, I assumed the exam was going to end at 11 (because the three earlier papers that I sat for were only two hours).

So the first half of the exam was a closed-book paper (MCQs). After we finished the MCQs, we were allowed to open up our notes or textbooks to do the second half of the paper, which was the open-book paper (case study). We already knew the question and prepared the answers for it.

So I had my time planned to a T.

0900-0950 : MCQs
0950-1100 : Case Study.

9:50 came and I handed the answer sheet after constant checking. And I started writing my answers out for the case study.

The time was nearly 11 and I was frantically writing as fast as I could because I was afraid I wouldn't have enough time to complete my paper.

I kept looking left and right, and people were taking their time to flip the pages and write their answers.

Then, I was wondering "How is it that the invigilator didn't mention that we should finish our last sentences since it was almost 11?".

As if she read my mind, the invigilator then said "It's now 11, you have one hour to go til the exam ends".

WHAT??? MY EXAM ENDS AT 12???

I couldn't help but laugh at my immense stupidity.

By then I wrote out all my answers in the booklet, so pretty much I was done with my case study.

I didn't want to look like a smart ass, so I flipped through the textbook pages to see if there was anything else I could add...and I did. Just one sentence, though.

By then, it was 11:25 and I had an urge to pee. So I excused myself and went to the toilet.

It was 11:29 and I was feeling cold (yes, I blame myself for sitting beneath the air-cond) and completely clueless as to whether or not there was anything else left for me to add, so I left before the last 30 minutes of the exam (we're not allowed to leave the hall in the first and last 30 minutes of the exam).

It was definitely the first time I wrote at hyperspeed. I really thought my exams were ending at 11, so I wrote as fast as I could to get all my points across!

I can be so silly sometimes, you think I should win the Best Nutcase award.

Hey, at least I provide you with some comic relief with my stupidity.

I need a new chair for my room, my ass hurts from too much sitting.

Does it sound weird if I said I have a strong urge to flip through my textbook pages and study again?

I need a back massage. Pronto.

Oh, is it very apparent that I look so tired and washed out? Because I've had three people say to me that "Oh yeah, you look so tired and look like you lack sleep".

I think I lost two kilos in the span of one week. NO. I wasn't on a diet. I was under stress, I guess?

I have an insane craving for ice cream now.

Nothing to give with everything you take.

My stomach is churning out a very unfamiliar tune and it hurts to the point I feel like hurling.

I am NOT pleased with this morning's results. Just give it to Man U already-lah, and focus on the Champs League, please. Don't piss me off.

I have said this time and time again. UGLY GRANT, YOU SUCK. WHEN YOU COME HERE IN JULY, I WILL PELT YOU WITH ROCKS. Anyone willing to be my partner(s)-in-crime?

I know someone who needs some cheering up. I updated because I know you're still grumpy, so please, feel free to break out into a grin and thank me.

The Cookies are ADORABLE! Hahahaha.

*feels heart break into tiny fragments* I miss the Mikey/Cookie moments.

Honestly. If he lived here, he could join that Watson's competition for the Uniquely You thing. For Engaging Eyes (we have no idea what colour his eyes are, because they keep changing so often, we gave up figuring it out). Luke Menard can try his luck in the Healthy Hair category. Hahaha!

Okay my stomach is giving me a hard time now, I hope it's not gastric.

Back to my books. Not studying death and dying anymore. I'm studying kids and quantitative methods.

Help me.

Currently listening to:
Day Tripper (studio version) - David Cook.

I liked the live performance with the vox box better. Not to say I don't like the studio version of this, I love it (as much as I love the other studio versions), but the performance was better. I know you know why.

EDIT:
MY FRIEND IS WATCHING PORN INSTEAD OF STUDYING! HIPSHAKING DAVID COOK, DON'T SWAY HER FROM HER BOOKS!

Oh hi, I'm her favourite Scouser and I just wanted to let you know that Liverpool rocks. YNWA!

I had a minor problem with clothes yesterday. So, I gathered my fashion experts *coughs* and asked them to pick a nice red top for me.

And guess what? I picked this top that I bought when I was 12 and it fits.

Oh yes, I do not lie. It fit perfectly and made me look thin.

I don't like wearing red much because I look fat when I wear red.

This is a surprise.

I have new shirts. And a damaged wallet.

You may say I'm a dreamer

I am 50-50 about leaving.

Sure. Go on and say "Oh yeah, she cannot live without her parents...she needs them because she's so dependent".

Fuck you.

I remember in school how people would say that in my face. At one point, I got so fed up with all the taunts I threw a book across the room, and the teacher heard nothing of the commotion while people stared at me as though some demon possessed me. Yes, I was a very violent child.

Yeah, I know, I am better than that so why did I let that get to me?

Because at that time it was true. I remembered this one trip I wanted to go because it fell on my 16th birthday...but the father firmly said no and I was condemned to spend my birthday alone. And from what I heard, my friends were stalked by this pervert outside the hotel, for once I was thankful for his rational judgement. He was my superego.

Things are different now. You live, you learn.

I am trying to leave for so many reasons.
I don't want to leave for a few reasons.

After all the bad things that have happened for the last few years, I need this break. Just go away and just learn.

I need to talk to someone, and this person is my last chance saloon of getting the approval to leave.

If I play the cards right, things will work to my advantage.

But if it doesn't work out, life still goes on.
"Think about it, your life goes on. Dudu's career is uncertain. His career = his life. Therefore life is almost over for him. You should be lucky you have yours"

I hate feeling good over someone else's misfortunes. Sadistic, really.

But I need the break. Desperately.

And oh, David Cook, marry me.

Okay. Good Muslim girl? Like seriously, if you heard the stories of what I did a few weeks back, you'd seriously re-evaluate that statement. Yes, all of you may laugh your heads off at this statement. I know you want to.

And no. NOT INTERESTED.

Maybe we're getting old.

You know it is weird to study about post-traumatic stress disorder on Tuesday and Wednesday, only for it to hit you in the face on Thursday and Friday.

The wife was inconsolable. Now all of us are just worried for her. We all are just worried she might just collapse after this. She is dependent on him for almost everything, especially now with the fact she ruptured some bones in her spinal cord a few months ago and now she walks around with a cast around her chest.

I wonder if I'll be like that if that were to happen to me. I just might.

It got me thinking. And I realised, I would not be strong enough to handle this. Regardless of how old I'll be when it happens...I know I won't be.

The father went again last night at about 10. I told the mother to tell him to come back early because I was afraid that some irresponsible alcoholic driver would be on the road and harm other people. I know I'm being paranoid, my dad drives safely, but in life you can't tell or predict when an accident is going to happen.

Life is unpredictable; one minute you're swimming in the glass bowl, the next you're swimming in a cat's tummy.

Today, the driver of the car came, and apparently he looked fine. Not a scratch on him. To escape such an accident (apparently, the car was knocked by a lorry and it swerved into a ravine and they were thrown out of the windscreen...but the story keeps changing so no one really knows what really happened) without having any injuries, it is a miracle.

People still want to speculate on what really happened. I still don't get it, why? Why would you want to play the guessing game? The man's gone, no explanation will bring him back. Unless you want to know the truth for closure, then I understand. But if you want to know it because you can finally pin the blame on someone, then forget it. There's no point.

Yes, I know it's sudden, but still. He's gone...just let his soul rest in peace. By prodding deeper and deeper into the cause, you're tormenting not only his soul, but also his family.

Have a heart and let him rest in peace.

*****
This sounds so much like the initiation ceremony in Chelsea. Haha, Danny Cipriani singing Ride With Me would've been an interesting sight.

Oh yes, I forgot. Happy belated 22nd, Mathew Tait!

I swear if Brian Ashton doesn't put you on as a substitute this weekend, I will burn him. Haha, pyromaniac.

Come on England!

*****
And argh, this news just pissed me off.

How on Earth can they do such a thing? First you say Didier's a liar. Then you say "Yes, we stripped him of the award because he refused to attend". What rubbish.

Don't make me bloody burn you people. Calling him a liar. Shame on you officials!

*****
Maybe we're getting old.

Maybe we're just getting into it.

I'm just human, pure emotion.

Finally, the floodgates have opened.

I finally cried at a funeral house. I am human after all. So much for being an emotionless robot all these years.

I don't cry at funerals or weddings. Everyone knows that.

Today was different. It was the first time I ever cried at a funeral house...it was weird to cry.

It was somewhat cathartic.

Maybe it was because the death came as a shock to everyone. Everyone I know who have departed died of a medical condition. This was the first time someone I know died in an accident, and he wasn't even driving. In fact, he never drove in his life.

Maybe what made it worse is that he was the father's best friend. Someone who was always there any time we needed help and who'd always let me stay at his place when the father had to go somewhere with him.

I woke up half an hour earlier than expected and the mother came inside my room to get to the balcony (my room is the room with a view) to hang the clothes. All she said was "You know, Uncle D passed away". All I wanted to say was "What the fuck?!" but no. I couldn't find the right words to say at that point. That's a bad way to start the morning.

It took us about almost an hour to comprehend what had happened and what was going to happen. He died on the spot at 5AM. I was still awake at 5. It is upsetting. And we got the news at 8. The father just sat there, for once he didn't know what to do. He was paralysed and numb.

His wife was distraught and in denial of what happened. No one expected it to happen.

I cried. For the first time in my life, I actually cried. I am very much human.

Throughout the 5 hours we waited there, a man was speaking loudly like he was the INVINCIBLE MAN. Like for fuck's sake, a man just died! Just shut the fuck up, will you? I don't give a damn if a shaman saved your life or whatever it is he did, just show some respect, okay? Someone just died and the last thing I need is to hear you talk rubbish and speculate the cause of his death and all.

Really, you go to the deceased's house to pay respects and people sit there and talk among themselves to discuss what really happened and why. I hate that. Pay your respects and say nice things about him, don't say things like "He was drunk" or things that are along those lines.

I am only hoping that the wife and his two kids stay strong for each other's sake. I can only say my deepest condolences and that I am always here.

Yes, world. I am upset. I finally realised I am human. I have finally cried.

To bling like this it ain't a crime.

I think my head's twisted. Physically, not mentally. It hurts when I turn it. There's like this sharp pain in the left side of my head. It's difficult for me to turn around.

And I hit my knee on the metal bar when I took the bus yesterday. Now it hurts. Bah.

And after I have lunch, I don't feel like eating dinner. I feel full. Something's wrong.

I am Hypochondriac junior. Haha.

*****
I was watching rugby the other day and the father went "How many kinds of sport do you want to watch-lah?". Sheesh. I watch whatever I fancy, okay? Not like I'm watching porn (don't you go there now).

Oh by the way, random stuff.

Okay, fine. Yes. I want to marry him =)

*dies* They're both adorable.

The article I saw when I was slightly tipsy for my own liking last week (after the "Let's send you to UK" episode). At least he's picked this time around. I hope he gets to play even as a sub. If not, I will burn Brian Ashton. Injustice!

Oh and seriously, please consider this.

This is Freddie Ljungberg. He is a Swedish footballer.

This, my dear friends, is Freddie Michalak. He is a French rugby player. I have more pics of him but they're a little obscene for little kids. Haha.

If they were to pose together like that French rugby team's naked calendar, I will die.

I am not lying.

Honestly, he is so adorable. Issh.

Okay, I think Crouchy looks VERY sexy in this pic. And what did I tell you about skinny ties? It makes a man sexy. I am not wrong.

Randomly, I was watching Beauty and the Best on 8TV the other day and I heard Clancy woman speak and told the mother she's ugly (to which she said it wasn't nice to call her 'ugly'). Haha.

*****
Okay, anyone has a nice poster of Jonny Wilkinson they'd like to donate to me? I can find a poster of Lewis quite easily on my own.

If I have Jonny's poster in my room, it would be perfect.

Be a good sport and help to the cause, okay. Your kindness shall be rewarded.
