I'll swim into you if you'll drown in me.

Here's another reason why I fail in being a woman.

My boyfriend wears more make-up than I do in year.

Oh yeah. Go on and laugh. I know you want to.

*****
I can't wait for Thursday. I haven't seen the Indonesian best friend who likes to burn things instead of studying.

I miss her and her jokes.

I miss the Russian one too. Our Carlos and Ballack jokes. Sigit and Paul-Erik. Dark fried noodles and hard cookies (this story will never die down, our mothers love to make fun of our non-existent cooking skills when we were 15).

I can never stand in between them or even next to them though. One is too thin, one is too tall. I have low-self esteem what?

*****
I got bored, so there. An update for you because I won't be updating this week. Unless I feel like it.

Two Names You Go By:
01. Roxanne.
02. Juicy Mookie (long story cut short, this nickname came out from a joke).

02. Sri Lankan-Sinhalese.

Two Things That Scare You:
01. Cockroaches.

Two Things You Want in a Relationship:
01. Trust.

Two Things You Hate:
01. Stupid petty people.
02. Cristiano Ronaldo.

Oh sorry, it says 'things', not people.
In that case, I'd go with pink things.

Two Physical Things that Appeal to You:
01. Eyes.
02. Lips. Or hair. Can't decide on this.

Fine. I want to get a tattoo.

01. I find cleaning my room and washing clothes and washing plates highly therapeutic.
02. I cross my arms when I take my shirt off.

Two people I would like to see take this quiz:
01. Sylvien, because she likes to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo to me in (vain) hopes of making me like him.
02. Anyone else who is bored, jobless and has time to spare.

I need a haircut, a pair of scissors, my mad collection of highlighters, and a book so badly right now.

But no.

Mr. Converse and I will be out on a trip to the town to wreak havoc.

Someone please tie me up to the bed.

YAY LEWIS HAMILTON!

And uh, Nelson Piquet Jr on the podium?

I drew a line for you.

I love Brooke White's version of Yellow.

*****
I'm slightly annoyed with a friend of mine.

We were chatting online one day and she asked me when I'd be graduating.

"July 2009"
"Wow, so long"
*WTF, one year very long now is it?*
"Actually, come to think of it, one year isn't that long. Time flies pretty fast, anyway"
"When will you be finishing?"
"April 2010"
"Oh, I'd be done with my Masters in 2010 in September!"

You see. This friend of mine took Foundation in Business in December 2005 (like right after SPM). She just completed her diploma this year and now she's in Australia doing her degree. 2 and a half years.

Me? I took my Foundation in Arts in August 2005 (yeah, if I only didn't decide to wait for the UIAM matriculation offer like my mother insisted me to). Now I am doing my degree, well into my third year, almost done. By September next year, I'd be off to the UK to do my Masters and stalk my boys (hey, that was part of the agenda).

I mean, if you want to compare things with me, I'd be done with my degree before you.

I mean it's like that thing we learnt in CTS before.
"I have 5 apples and you have two books, which means I have more"

You're comparing on two different levels.

And if you want to compare things with me, make damn sure you know what you want to compare about, because I don't tolerate such petty things.

Just because you're already in Australia and doing YOUR degree, it doesn't mean that:
01. I am poor and I can't afford to go overseas to study because heck, I can! I just realised that we had a lot to spend on this year with the wedding and all, so I want to wait til next year.
02. you're ultimately the successful one amongst us. I am not belittling you, but seriously. You've just started doing your degree and I'm almost done.
03. one year to graduate is such a BLEEDING LONG TIME.

I could've told this to you in your face, but I am such a nice person and my mother taught me to be the better person, so I decided against it.

If you want to compare with me that you have a boyfriend and that I don't, it's fine with me.

But if you want to compare with me about education, just don't. Because I value education as much as I value guitars.

Because it hurts me to see someone smashing guitars or tossing it like it means nothing.

I want to say something else, but it's long and just me sounding a little whiny. So, I'll keep that for another day.

I just discovered that a new tooth is growing on the upper part of the left side of my mouth. It's my wisdom tooth apparently.

"Oh wonderful, let's hope you become a lot wiser after this tooth fully grows"

Ma, you're not funny, okay.

Won't you please help me?

I miss rugby.

I miss my friends.

My father is so random.

Yesterday at the mall, he went to the pharmacy to ask for this ointment but they only had one that was mixed with steroids so he didn't buy it.

"Can you imagine they mixed it with steroids?"
"Yeah, I can't buy that"
"If you bought and ate it, you'd grow boobs!"
"Brooms?"
"Boobs!"
*keeps quiet*
*after 5 seconds*

"Oh..."
*starts laughing*

This evening, we were outside in our lawn and I have this tendency to compare the size of our palms and fingers together. So I started comparing the size of our feet.

"Eh, our feet are the same size!"
"Yes, but my feet size are 8 and a half"
"Mine's 8"
O_O
"Really ah?"
"Yes"
"My right foot is 8 and a half, my left is size 8"
"Eh, got such thing ah?"
"Ya"
"You know those white shoes you recently bought?"
"Yes?"
"I can fit into them"

My mother is always complaining to people about how she gets my shoes and not the other way around.

Damn it, why can't I grow at least an inch taller?!

*****
I'm almost done with my playlist. Shall post it up here tomorrow.

One more year til this madness is done with.

One more year and I'll be leaving on a jet plane.

One more year.

I suck in being a girl because I do not possess ladylike qualities people like.

I like sports. I sometimes belch like a boy. I am not stick-thin. I hate make-up and pink things. I can't cook to save my own life (I don't think someone can get by eating cookies for the rest of their life). I rather sleep than do anything. I like dinosaurs and cars and books more than dolls.

But you know what?
That's alright, I like myself the way I am. Your approval isn't needed.

Even when I dream of you, the sweetest dreams will never do.

I AM FREE! *does robot dance*

The paper wasn't so bad since it was an open-book exam.

4 questions, 40 marks.

Break down of marks:
Question 01 = 5 marks
Question 02 = 10 marks
Question 03 = 5 marks
Question 04 = 20 marks

I almost got confused with the last question because it was long and confusing (and I am not smart enough to decipher hidden meanings behind questions...STILL second in Word Challenge-lah!). It asked about the different types of products, types of distribution AND pricing strategies all in one question. I actually underlined the three things in the questions and wrote away hoping that my interpretation of the question wasn't wrong.

When the time was up at 2PM, the lecturer who was in the exam hall told us what the question was about. Apparently...my answer is correct.

Can you imagine how relieving it is to know that 20 marks haven't gone down the drain like that?

One month to sleep and relax now.

I came home and got slightly upset over someone who just knows how and where exactly to prick me with a needle.

Instead of crying, I chose to sweep, vacuum and mop my room.

Oh yeah. I could get used to being domesticated.

I had this really weird dream yesterday before the shopping trip.

I went to this Idol tour concert in KL and somehow I was late. By the time I got there, I missed Cookie's performance (if this ever happened in real-life, someone please kill me...I am NOT kidding) and I managed to sit at the side of the stage. Brooke was singing Yellow (which I really liked) and then she introduced Michael Johns on stage. He started singing Fire and It's All Wrong But It's All Right. Then, the concert ended and he went backstage. Brooke suddenly came back on stage and mentioned that Michael took his shirt off. And since I was sitting at the edge of the stage nearing the backstage, I went to peek. He put on this yellow shirt and he saw me looking and I ran away because I got scared. I ran all over the building with May, my 17 years who I bumped into while running away from Michael. We went all over the place, only stopping to eat some chocolate-coated marshmallows.

Then we ran back up, and saw Michael coming out. I wanted to run but my friend was going fangirly there, she started yelling "MIKEY COME HERE AND TAKE A PIC WITH US!" and he came to us. He came to us and told his manager he'll come shortly.

First he took pics with May, but he looked a bit drunk, and he kept asking how old she was. She told him that she was 16 (even in my dreams, she lies about her age -.-'). Then I reluctantly went to take a pic with him (because I was still slightly embarrassed about the incident). He suddenly asked me "Nice view?" (obviously referring to the incident that happened backstage) and I got so embarrassed I didn't know what to answer, so I just kept quiet. Then he asked me how old I was, I said that I was 20. I asked him for his autograph.

Then May saw Cookie and got a bit too excited so she ran to get him. So it was only me and Michael there and he gave me a piece of paper. And he said to call him when I want to go shopping with him. I said okay. Then he gave me a kiss on the cheek and left.

By then, I wasn't feeling too well.

Then Cookie saw me and asked if I was okay. I told him it's because of the chocolate I ate that's making me sick. Then he wanted to take me to the clinic and I said no, and we were arguing about it until I fainted. Then I see myself in hospital, and I see Michael there (the hospital people thought he was like a close relative/family member to call during emergency since they saw his number in my pocket). May and Cookie was there, and Michael teased me and said "This isn't what I had in mind when I asked you to call me". I started laughing and so did everyone else.

Then I woke up.

Told you my dreams never make sense.

I told this to my mother and she couldn't stop laughing at me (When I mentioned the part Brooke announces that Michael took shirt off, she just said "So you ran to see him take his shirt off-lah? Hamsap!". She even laughed when I said Michael wants me to call him when I want to go shopping and Cookie was arguing with me about going to the clinic).

I told May about it too. She wasn't happy.
"Why did Michael give you his number? I like him more than you do!"
"That's why I told you not to lie about your age. Even in my dreams you lie about your age. See what happened? He didn't give you his number to call him out on a shopping trip"
"Bitch, don't talk to me. You stole my lover"

But seriously, I am pretty much stupid in my dreams. Not much difference between me in real-life and me in my dreams. Though if ever Michael Johns or Cookie were in the hospital when I wake up, I would yell "OMG WHO LET YOU IN HERE???" and start laughing.

What did I learn from this dream?

There goes my hero, watch him as he goes.

I can never step into a bookshop and leave without buying anything. There is always something I have to buy.

I'm like a kid in a candy store when I'm in a bookshop.

I went into MPH Bookstores in One U and bought a card (was very bummed I couldn't buy a book there).

Then, my brother and I went into Pay Less Bookstore and guess what I got?

Yes, I got TWO Psychology textbooks. I bought that Adolescence and Emerging Adulthood one because it had cross-cultural approaches!

I love books. Have I told you that already?

*****
Today, I found out that my brother and I have a few things in common.

We hate Ronaldo the pansy.
We love blue shirts.
We love books. I got him to pay for my books =p
We love chocolates.
We hate slow drivers.

We went out together to get a birthday present for my father (which was rather tiring).

*takes out light purple shirt*
*puts on me*

"Why are you putting this on me?"
"I want to see if this shirt matches pa or not...if it doesn't suit you, it won't suit him"
-.-"

I picked this long-sleeved dark blue shirt for him and he told me how my sister-in-law (I'm still not used to saying this word yet) is complaining about how many blue shirts he has but he didn't care and bought it anyway. I have good taste, you see.

He saw that Ronaldo poster on the pillar and he pretended to kick it. I just had to laugh because I wanted to do the same before he did it.

We bought the present and the card, and I told him I wanted to buy these Converse shoes I've been eyeing. We got to the store and I saw the shoes.
"Which is better? Black or blue?"
"Up to you...but if it were me, I'd pick the blue one"

Damn psychic, the bugger. So I showed him the price of the shoes.
"Why are you showing me the price?"
"Because I have no money to pay for them"
"What? And you came in here looking like you had money!"
"I told you I only had RM50!"
"Hey, consider this as your 'going away before getting married' present"
"Okay. I realised I haven't given you money for the last few months already, with all these wedding things"

Yes. He pays me money to wash his plate. Well, at least that's what he says. RM75 a month. I haven't been paid for my services for the last few months. Not complaining, I do know he's been busy with work and the wedding preparations.

There's footwear everywhere! Slippers under my bed, high heels in front of the closet, and the Converse on the chair! My father is right -.-'

I asked the guy at the store for the shoes in size 7 and he looked at my feet. I came home and realised that the pair I bought was size 6.

I checked the label on the shoe box and apparently...
size 6 for men = size 8 for women.

Ah, now that makes more sense.
The guy is super psychic-lah, I say. Look at my feet and he already knows my size.

I love my new Converse shoes.

More importantly, albeit it may seem to be a little trite, I love my brother. There are a lot of things we don't agree on, there are times I resent him, but I do love him.

There goes my hero, watch him as he goes,
There goes my hero, he's ordinary...

I haven't got a clue.

I folded 100 cards and managed to get my right thumb cut along the way.

One more chapter to go for Social Psych.

Yay!!! *does handstand*

The library is now officially my second home.

I have a sudden urge to toss my oversized Wisconsin sweater aside because everytime I wear it, it makes me want to cry. All those memories. They hurt, in a good way.

Personally, my favourite song from the Analog Heart album.

I know I've been saying it like a million times already, but hell, I'd give just about anything just to go back to Wisconsin again. I just feel like crying right now.

Damn it, where's the magic rainbow when you need it to cheer you up?

Hate floods my body and thoughts cloud my mind.

The cat is out of the bag. It's going to scratch you in the face. Please don't ask me anything about this cat. Go ask my parents or my brother, thanks very much. I'm not liable for whatever they have planned.

I am away. Studying. No shit, Sherlock.

I managed to complete three chapters from the Social Psych textbook. Another two to go.

Can you people please be proud that I actually am studying and NOT stalking some person?

Well, there are the occassional moments of spazzing out due to a massive overdose of 'magic rainbow' on the radio. BUT IT DOESN'T COUNT!

And then there was that major gem of a song beautiful song called Always Be My Baby (THE version I love) being played on the radio. I screamed at my Scouser, who actually screamed with me this time and didn't grumble. I couldn't stop smiling after that because it was rather unexpected to hear it on the radio again.

A few days ago, I was thinking about the friends who will be going overseas soon. I realised that in a year's time, I won't be here too. It makes me feel a whole bunch of things.

FINE.
Freaked out. Insecure. Neurotic. Emotional.

I can't wait. And you know what?

I'm going to miss my parents the most.
Especially my mother.
She's my gossipping partner, my football partner, my glee face twin, my random magic rainbow crooner.
Everything.

I told her "When I go, you won't have anyone to talk about American Idol with or fight with anymore".
She told me "Good-lah, by then I'd have a grandchild and I'd be preoccupied, won't have to think about fighting with you".

I have made up my mind. ABMB is the theme song of my life. Maybe quite possibly, my mother's too.

I might be going to Pangkor in August after the madness and all.
Hope that pans out the way I want it to.

Look out, baby because here I come.

I actually typed out a few posts, but they're all saved as drafts because I don't want them to be published yet due to some inexplicable reasons.

Sorry, I haven't been in the best of moods of late. I have been having nightmares, I'm too afraid to fall asleep lately.

*****
I swore I cried when I saw Kimi Raikkonen's car hit the back of Adrian Sutil's Force India car.
I was highly impressed with the way Adrian Sutil drove last night, he was up to fourth!
And to see him tear up after missing what could have been 5 valuable points...my goodness.
I felt like my heart was stabbed and sliced into pieces.

But, yay Lewis! After what happened, he won.

Two out of my three favourites won.

I shouldn't feel sad.

SACKED.

Thank you.

Now let Jose go back to Chelsea so that I can stalk him when they come to KL in July, please.

I have been busy doing things. I was trying to find a muse for my Human Personality assignment.

I was going to be absolutely lazy and decided to stick papers and pictures on my art block.

I am getting lazier now. Wow, what a shocker.
*rolls eyes*

Just because I have mastered the art of making chocolate chip cookies (or the art of loving thy kitchen), it doesn't mean I've found my creativity bone too.

BUT.

I have found my muse.

His name is David Cook.

*hears groans*

Shut up, I say!

No, I am not drawing his face! Oh my goodness, didn't I tell you I have no creativity bone in my body? Have you not been paying attention to me AT ALL?
Shame on you.

And uh, writing and pasting pictures all over his pretty face?
You must be joking. Why in the world would I do that? I am not crazy!

You'll see soon enough. I'll show it to you soon enough. After Friday. Haha.

I'll give you a hint.
I don't know anybody in this room and I'm not wearing pants.

Hahaha, you know this!

My father is so random.

I started ranting to my parents about how this particular group who believe that the school uniform is too sexy (yeah, I know...WTF) were also the same people who thought Gwen Stefani's sense of dressing is too sexy (yeah, again, WTF...my mother thinks Gwen Stefani isn't that sexy).

Then suddenly, he talks about watching the TV after the news. He said he was watching some video clips, and then he saw one that really caught his attention.

"The song was really nice, I like the beat"
"Who was it?"
"Rihanna or something"
*stares at mother*
*stares at me*
"Umbrella?"
"NO! THAT SONG IS AWFUL! It's some Don't Stop the Music or something"
*starts laughing hysterically*
"Eh that's the song David sang right?"
*nods and continues laughing*

(You see, we were thinking that he was going to complain about how sexy the artiste's dressing was...he built up the story to a climax...then he goes and says "I like that Don't Stop the Music song". Way to ruin my expectations, uncle)

Great, now the image of my father watching the hipshaking version of that song is etched in my mind.

I need to get it out.

I don't wanna fall asleep.

Sometimes, all it takes is one text to make you forget how screwed up people can be sometimes.

The studio version reminded me of someone I used to love. The original one always tugged my heart.

Thank you for this morning, I love you. The song perfectly summed up the three hours.

I am convinced the mother has a crush on my boyfriend.
After watching his homecoming video and saying how thin his younger brother is and what a mensch he is for remembering his teacher, she went to the kitchen and I went to my room.

Then she comes into my room to go to the balcony and take the clothes in and she sits at the edge of my bed.

And then she spoke the words of wisdom.
"I have a strong feeling your David will win next week"

Yes, folks. You heard it here first.

My mother has a crush on David Cook.

She is no longer a David Archuleta fan.

I have successfully turned her into a Cookie fan.

I have the power. My life mission is complete. I am so proud.

*****
I'll be away for a while. I need to get my life in check. I haven't been the happiest of gits of late. I forgot to take my happy pills, sorry for being such a grumpy person. I am sorry if I annoyed you lot with my grumblings.

I know why I am so annoyed but I choose not to talk about it here because I don't want to make people feel sad for me or the likes.

Possible candidate, yeah.

Honestly, you have no idea how hard it is to refrain myself from breaking into a big grin whenever I hear THAT song, because it reminds me of all the random sexually-inappropriate conversation we'd have.

22nd May, 2008 would be an important date for me for two reasons:
01. UEFA Champions League final.

My Chelsea boys are up against Man United. I am hoping for a repeat of the FA Cup final this time around. After watching the Man United players lift the Premier League title again for the 10th time, I so badly want my boys to win the Champions League trophy. Just once, we've come so close to being in the finals for the last three times and faltered. I love my boys, I didn't cry for them last night, despite the fact I tapped my fingers onto the table quite a lot while watching the match. But to finish second after all the shit that has happened to us? Hey, that's not so bad.

And I am so thankful JT is going to be okay for the Champs League match. I hope our rocky Riccy Carvalho is fit too.

This could be our year.

02. American Idol season 7 finale.

Best pic of David Cook. Ever.

Quite frankly, I want David Cook to win so badly. I know I talk about him incessantly-lah, but you must remember that I adore him to bits (also, this is my blog and I can choose to write about him until the cows come home).

I can't imagine David Archuleta winning it. He sounds bland and boring. He can only sing ballads. Not really a bad thing, but, seriously. I WANT VARIETY. I can never get why the judges slobber all over him when he conveniently forgets his lyrics TWICE and cracks his voice in the middle of a song?

I sort of like the shirt he's wearing.

If you've seen David Cook sing, holy mother of toe socks! Goosebumps okay? The best thing he's ever done was change the arrangements of Hello, Billie Jean and Always Be My Baby (which is, by far, the best and most memorable performance of him I've seen), albeit being called a copycat for Billie Jean.

Ma, really. I want to marry him.

And have you seen him sing Music of the Night? If you only know how I felt when I heard him sing the studio version. I wasn't listening to the sexy rocker David I fell in love with. It was a sexy soft side of him I've never heard of before. It tugged every string of my heart and I couldn't help smiling to myself as I was being serenaded by him.

*cue the Scouser's trademark statement: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WOMAN, THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN DAVID COOK, LIKE STEVEN GERRARD AND THE MANSLUT!"*

I could list down the reasons why I adore him and want to see him win it all, but I wouldn't want to be seen as slobbering all over him. As it is, this entry is only showing me slobbering all over him to a lesser extent.

But oh, he works wonders with the cameras. Have you seen the wolf prowl?

*ka-thud*

See? Sexy, yes?

I can never understand how in the world did he go from the guy with the red faux-hawk (whose name I conveniently forgot right after the auditions...right, major epic fail on my end) to this somewhat sempiternally immaculate human being in just *counts* three months?

I mean. LOOK!

I remembered the red faux-hawk, okay? Cut me some slack.

Oh. My. Holy. Boxers. The moment I told my mother I needed to marry him (I told mate I wanted to marry him when he confessed to being a 'word nerd' during the Top 20 where he did All Right Now...she replied me with -.-'...HAH! SEE! NOW YOU THINK HE'S A ORGASM-INDUCING SEX GOD!).

I loved the fact he got himself a haircut here.

HATE THE HAIR. THE FRONT PART OF IT. The mini faux-hawk came back so it wasn't so bad. But bleh...guys, stay away from the straightening iron, please. It's so bloody wrong to see a guy (ab)use the iron to make their hair straight. It's like a cardinal sin of matters pertaining to the mane.

And he loves Michael Johns! I love Michael Johns too!

Andrew and David Cook. We call them the Cookies. Hahaha!

Young David with his previous band, Axium.

I love the caption of the shirt. Now I miss Wisconsin like you cannot imagine. It's spring there now. I miss the Farmer's Market where the pregnant mommies would get their bellies painted and where the friendly jam spread seller would talk about his friend in Kuching. Honestly, best jam I've ever tasted. Hands down.

MA, SEND ME TO WISCONSIN! *wails*

I sound like a rabid fangirl now. So I should probably just shut up and get ready for class tomorrow.

You can hear me say...

that Operation Chocolate Chip Cookies was a success.

Well, almost. 7 cookies were burnt. Hahaha. That's not bad, since I made close to 140 cookies. Wah, rather ambitious for someone who's not even doing ANY kind of work in the kitchen, don't you think?

The brother ate about 8 cookies.
"What prompted this change?" he asked in a rather mocking and surprised tone.

I was half tempted to say "It's David Cook day and this is how I'm celebrating!".

But that answer was a BIG lie, so I told him the truth.
"Every time I have a semester break, I always say I want to bake cookies, but I never have the chance to do it. I decided to do the cookies today"

He said it was good for a first attempt, but the shape was a little off. Hey, my cookies are nicely-shaped okay?

When he first stepped into the house after work, I rushed out of the kitchen and gave him a cookie.
"Try it"
"You made cookies?"
"Yes"
"I'm trying to think of the risks"
-.-"
Damn insurance people.

He ate it and pretended to faint (ala David Cook during the Day Tripper performance).

Well, the good thing was that he said it was good, so I am happy.

My lovely eejit called and asked "HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, ARE YOU MAKING COOKIES TO CELEBRATE DC'S DAY?". Yes, she was shouting those words at my ears.

"No, you random screaming fool, I'm not baking them for him"

To which my Scouser decide to conveniently interrupt and say "Did you know that 10 minutes into making the cookies and she's already cut her finger? With the aluminium foil that wraps the chocolate bar?".

All she could say to me was "Major epic fail on your part, Xanne". I could see her shake her head in disbelief.

You would also be quite surprised to know that yours truly here used a spoon instead of her hands to roll the dough.

As we do not have an oven in our house (We had TWO, but my parental units are awesomely generous, so they gave them both away! WTF!), we had to use this pan which allows you to bake cookies (it sort of acts like an oven). 15 balls for 25 minutes. We only started baking the cookies at around 7PM. We were officially done with the dough at 2AM this morning.

Total chocolate chip cookies made: 135.
Total cookies given away to family friend: 12.
Total cookies eaten by the brother: 8.
Total cookies eaten by the mother and myself: 10.
Total cookies left: 105.

I consider Operation Chocolate Chip Cookies a success.

I feel accomplished right now. I am extremely proud of myself.

I guess this is THE achievement of the year for me.

It's therapy for me to wear my heart on my sleeve...

Have I told you how much I love David Cook's music pre-American Idol?

I actually wrote a nice long post to celebrate David Cook day yesterday, but I decided to not continue with it. I have my reasons.

One day more to madness.

Your porcelain face and a heart of glass.

She wakes up in an unfamiliar territory, feeling completely disoriented.
She knows it's not her bed she slept in last night.
She knows in her mind, the shirt that is two sizes larger than her is hanging loose around her small frame, just enough to cover her bottom, is not hers either. She wears it nonetheless because of the warmth and security it gives her.
She knows the person she was sleeping next to is nowhere to be found.

She gives herself a minute to compose herself and breathe. She inhaled the scent that lingers on the said oversized shirt. She smiles and walks around and searches for him.

She sees him in the living room, a guitar slung around him. He gives her a half-smile and motions her to sit on the chair nearby. She does as she is told because she has been taught to do so since she was a little girl. And of course, she does it because she loves him with her heart.

He begins to strum his guitar to a song she thinks is meant for her.

She is right.

He begins to sing. His voice alone was enough to make her weak in the knees, she thinks to herself. It was raspy, but something about it made her see how pure and real his heart is. It made her love him more.

Completely colorblind, these red lights are going unseen
Fall behind with words unsaid you know they're always obscene
'cause my ears, they bled before; I need to let them heal
She fell out; her broken legs won't let her walk away
From this town that couldn't give a single shit either way
And her fears, they bled before she's convinced that they're real

What are you looking for?
Are you looking for something more?
It's not me
It's not me

When he sings those lines, he looks at her, with his bedroom eyes. She looks away, she doesn't know what or how to react when he looks at her like that. Instead, she just blushes.

He, well, just smiled. He loves to see her to do that.

Lost her way from everything she swore she knew, a friend
Run away from start to finish though it never ends
In her mind she is blinded by all she sees
Close your eyes; just pretend the bullet isn't there
No surprise; no need to pretend that no one really even cares
But in her eyes you will find the very best in me

What are you looking for?
Are you looking for something more?
It's not me
It's not me

She gets up and sits next to him. Seeing this, he stopped playing the guitar and puts it away. She feels confused and wonders if she made him upset. She feels hot tears trickling down her cheeks. He notices this and wipes them dry. He lets his hands rest on her face and looks straight into her eyes.

This time, she doesn't look away. She could see an air of honesty in those eyes. She becomes deeply fixated on his gaze and those captivating eyes.

He continues to sing, minus the guitar.

When did it all unwind?
Are you prepared for you'll find?
It's not me
It's not me

She sees how close their faces were to each other now, she stands tiptoed to give him a kiss. Their lips never parted. She has never been this happy or certain in her life.

She whispers in his ears: I am prepared, and it is you.

She finally says the words he longed to hear.
"I love you"

He smiles at her and they begin to cuddle each other on the sofa of the room.

They then hear a familiar tune. The SpongeBob SquarePants theme song.
In a very cute manner, he says "Oh look, SpongeBob's on!"

She laughs at how cute he looked when he said that, but then sees that the TV has not been turned on.

At this point, she wakes up and finds that the SpongeBob SquarePants was coming from her cellphone. It was her alarm clock that did it.

Shoot. She is seriously considering the idea of changing her alarm clock. SpongeBob, this is NOT the first time you've done this to her.

But, she thinks again about her dream. It made her smile so wide despite the fact she only got 3 hours of sleep. She can't help but smile, just thinking about it makes her giddy to the point she can feel it in her toes.

Little things like this make her happy and sane.
