Enough love.
Okay, I nearly drowned on Thursday. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone. I didn't even tell my family, okay. I have nightmares when I go to sleep...but anyways I had fun, save the drowning part-lah obviously. So I'm taking time off to update with pics of the things that happened on Thursday and Friday.
Okay, but first, Lewis wants to say 'hello'.

HELLO THERE!
Yes, my photography skills suck. I should be sent to jail for this awful shot.
Let's proceed with the pics then, shall we? Credits go to Jason for these lovely pics.
THURSDAY.

This is were we volunteer every Thursday and Friday.

These two are Wai Lon (back) and Forrester. They're really sweet.

The one with the arm floats is Nini. The one in the white top is Mrs. Bala, one of the teachers at the center.

Xin Rou, why are you looking elsewhere!

Wai Lon and Xin Rou.

Eh, that's a dolphin! Me. That's Uncle Lim, one of the swim coaches there.

Dolphin Sakai trying to act graceful. Failed attempt.

This is Amanda, the center's president's daughter.

See the girl jumping into the water? That's Pei Yin.
She's really good. She loves to jump into the water, like a cannonball.

Happy Xin Rou and Pei Yin.
I went over to the kid's pool and just sat there for a while because I was tired. My arms are still aching until now.

Me, sitting...trying to think what's next.

This is Ting Wei.

FAT!!! =( Then I saw this girl. I remembered she likes splashing water on people. So I did just that.

You see that girl behind me? I was so happily splashing water on the other girl, and she gave me this death glare. Worse than the father's face when he's horribly pissed. Really scary, okay. She started saying words like 'menyibuk' and 'menyampah' at me while giving me THE death glare.

Okay-lah, I'm over-reacting, but see this. There were other people in the pool, but she chose to call me that. It hurts-lah, okay?
Plus, she was calling out for this boy. He went towards her but lost his grip on the ball and swam to get it. The ball was coming towards me so I passed it back to him and she said I was 'menyibuk'. The boy swam back to her and then she pushed the ball away =(
She gave me the death glare again. I got bloody pissed and went back to the adult pool again. I also can give you death glare-lah if I want. But for what? I don't get any kind of satisfaction from doing it. My satisfaction comes from helping people.

They were racing! They had many races and it was fun seeing them go.

Secretary! HAHAHAHA! OMG do you remember that joke? Then we came back and did some paperwork. That's Ali, another teacher at the center. Witty.
Then we went back home.
FRIDAY.
We continued doing some paperwork for the teachers. Since we were such good help, we were rewarded with tarts!

They were selling them at the Christmas bazaar they had in Crown Princess Hotel on Thursday. They sold it for RM 8 at the bazaar, and RM 6 yesterday. We got it for free *glee*
I wouldn't mind continuing my volunteering work there again. I don't want it to be a one-off thing. It gives me new things to learn about and lets me gain more experience when I plan to work next time. I like these kids, they teach me what it's like to be in their shoes. They are more normal than I am.
The staff are wonderful, so are the kids. I definitely wouldn't mind continuing there.
Xin Rou, you can copy the pics from here first if you want =)
Back to work, lazy bones!
