Heart-breaking.

Yesterday, my Scouser paid me a visit while I was studying. Yes, she helped me study. I am as surprised as you are. Haha.

She was happily ransacking my CD and cassette collection. And she took out my entire stack of 911 cassettes. She was having thoughts of her childhood days too. I talk as if I am 50 now.

So we decided to play the album according to the order it first came out. We started with The Journey. We were dancing and talking about the triangular love theory. Multi-taskers.

Then it was Moving On. The first side was okay, so we changed to the other side. After a long while, we heard nothing. We took the cassette out and saw that the string had snapped.

That was my favourite album of the whole lot.

So after feeling down for 10 minutes (auntie Scouser says it was more than that, but I don't care what she says) we put in There It Is. Side one played okay, then when it came to side two, the same thing happened.

My heart, too, snapped into two.

"Don't be so sad-lah. Go check in Tower Records-lah. You're going to see a movie after your exam on Friday right? Go check it out"
"Don't be stupid. Won't have"
"Eh, if they have albums by The Beatles and Bee Gees, I don't see why they won't have 911"
"People STILL like Bee Gees and The Beatles, who on Earth likes 911 now?"
"You"
"That's NOT the point!"
"The point is...go check it out. Oh!!! DANIEL BEDINGFIELD!!!"
*shrieks like a fan girl*
"Put the CD in"
"Put Will Young in first because you're sad"
*after two songs from Will*
"Okay, put Daniel Bedingfield in"
*after whole album was done*
"Okay, different CD now"
"Put The Killers"
"No"
"INXS?"
"No"
"MCR?"
"No"
"James Blunt?"
"Yerr...NO!"
"Then??"
"5ive!!!"
"Whatever makes you happy as long I get back to studying!"
"Romantic love, fatuous love, infatuation, companionate love, liking, empty love. Yes?"
"Yes. So clever"

Not bad having her accompanying me while I'm studying. Helped me a lot in remembering stuff. I heart you, Scouser.

Anyone going to Tower Records soon, can check for me if they have all 4 of their albums? I want to know the price also. Need to know how much I need to set aside (and see if I have any money left to buy the things I need). Please???

I'll be really nice to you. I swear I won't make fun of you or whatever you believe in.

Today's paper was okay. Not so bad, but he bluffed us. He told us that we had to study from week 1 until week 14. Only week 7-14 came out.

Cheh, make me read about compliance and other nonsense. Oh well...I studied what I could.

And the love theory thing came out too. I owe you one.

I saw Ruth just now and I nearly cried. Seeing her like that was just heart-breaking. She was in a cast and she looked absolutely uncomfortable and upset. She was crying. Nearly made me cry.

I don't know, maybe seeing a kid suffer at a young age tears me up a little. I am quite mushy.

Oh, she actually smiled and shook hands with us when we told her goodbye. It's the first time I've seen her smile.

But I think she likes my dad more. Must be the beard. Haha.

Totally related note, my parents CANNOT wait to have grandkids.

Or maybe it's just me and my not-so brilliant thoughts.

I'm going to study my brain. Toodles.
