Tag.
I'll do just about anything to get away from doing my LAST assignment due this Friday. I know. I'm such a procrastinator. Boo...
So anyway, I've been tagged by Emma. Though we don't have summer here...no, wait. We actually do have summer. It was freaking hot yesterday and I was soaking in sweat in my normal clothes even after I took a bath! That's how bad it is.
Anyway, before I go off-topic...here's the tag.
01. Name movies you watch every Summer.
Jungle Book! I love this movie a lot. And yes, I always wanted Mowgli to stay in the jungle instead of following that "I'm off to fetch a pail of water" thing. Bah.
Let's see, anything else? The Sound of Music is a movie I watch way too much this time of the year.
The Lion King! Seeing Mufasa die made me cry. I always love that movie.
And for some strange inexplicable reason, the X-Men trilogy keeps me up too.
Oh, and Grease! Hehehe!
02. Songs that remind you the most of Summer.
Summertime of Our Lives - A1. God, I don't believe I just said that! Damn you Liverpool fan!
Apart from that, Mungo Jerry's In the Summertime comes to mind.
And Nelly Furtado's I'm Like a Bird as well, because it makes me feel like I'm a free bird. What irony.
Summer Loving from the Grease soundtrack is pretty good too. I'm not sure of what the title is. But it has "Summer" in it.
03. What was the greatest Summer holiday you ever had?
Pretty much, 2004 to the States. That apparently was my ONLY summer holiday I had.
04. Your favourite airport reads.
I would say Sophie Kinsella. Louis Sachar would be good. Mitch Albom too.
05. Are you a sunbather?
Oh no, I'm already tanned, thank you very much. When I came back from the States, I grew a little darker, seriously. It was bad. It was sunny and windy at one go, but you couldn't feel the heat, only the chills, and yet you can STILL get dark.
06. Your ideal holiday destination this Summer that you haven’t been to before.
I would say somewhere in Europe. Either London or Milan or Madrid. Or say Germany. Oh no, Germany was where I wanted to be last year. Haha. But still I'd like to go there andhit Michael Ballack stalk Lukas Podolski. Sorry, I only got to bed at 4:30 this morning and I woke up at 10:30. That explains the idiotic ramblings.
07. Describe your Summer of 2006 in 10 words or less.
World Cup. Hating Cristiano Ronaldo. Blue is ALWAYS the colour.
08. What Summer movie must you see this year?
TRANSFORMERS!!! Someone just kidnap me and watch it with me already.
The Simpsons movie. Just because I love Homer.
Surf's Up. Just because I need to watch an animated film to keep the kid in me happy.
09. Which Summer changed your life?
The summer of 2004. What I saw changed my life. It's nothing like what you see in the TV. Well, I could be biased since I only went to a few states, NOT all of them.
10. Do you like the beach? What do you bring to the beach with you?
I like the beach but I can't swim. I like pictures of the beach. I'm beginning to envy mate's Redang pics.
What do I bring there? Food! Spare clothes, sun tan, sunglasses, and a hat. The MP3 player (Oh damn I haven't given it a name! Let's call it Nicky! Haha!) is a must. Oh Bali...my friends are all going to the beach after the finals during their two-month break! What do I have? A three-day holiday. That's long enough for me to wake up, stare at the ceiling and say "Hey, I'm starting college tomorrow!".
11. Your earliest memory of a Summer holiday.
I would say either Genting, Penang or Langkawi. I can't remember. My mind is like a sieve.
12. And finally, what do you intend on doing this Summer?
Watch movies. Laze around. Study the Spanish dictionary. I'd do anything that isn't related to my studies. Hahaha.
Tagging: Aimee, mate (you have to do this), Mexxy. Anyone else who wants to do it/those who want to procrastinate from doing stuff.
Oh yeah, to all who are about to have their holidays, have fun and don't forget this little sad human being who has been forced into staying on for the two months to finish her electives (okay, so maybe not forced, it's just that I want to finish early so that I can leave the country fast).
If all goes well, I'd graduate in June/July 2009 (provided they don't change the semesters. again). "You'd graduate when you're 21!" Yes, woman, I'm glad your Maths skills are improving for the better.
And then, yes, I hope I can start stalking random footballers. Eh, sports psychologist can stalk people one, okay.
Hahaha! You do know I'm only joking, right?
Currently listening to:
Out of Your Mind - Victoria Beckham and Dane Bowers.
Gonna show you I'm not crazy...
Don't get me wrong, I like this song. It's not bad and she can sing. Very nice dance tune. I said it's NOT bad. Seriously.

Yay, we both wanna go to Milan!
I'd like to go to Germany too. Except I wanna stalk Lahmy.
And oh year, last Summer, Cristiano needed to die. In fact, he still does.
@ Emma - Yay! I'd like to go to Milan because of the fashion (window-shopping) and Kaka *blush*. That nerdy pretty boy.
I want to go to Germany and stalk Schweinsteiger and Podolski. Haha!
He really needs to die. Seriously. I think people are getting annoyed with the fact I keep saying he needs to die.
Totally - and my hatred of him is heightened by the fact that today is a one year anniversary of... that day. *cries*
@ Emma - I just remembered that. It still feels like it was yesterday. *cries*
I hate Portugal because of him (Jose and the Portuguese contingent shall be spared because of their inevitable hotness).
He should die. I hate him.
