So, I have officially not fasted for 9 days. It could've been lesser than that, but the extra five days were due to the ear infection which, I keep telling people, is something I brought onto myself.

I'm not exactly in the Raya spirit. Maybe it's partly because I have no 'kampung' to return to. My 'kampung' has always been the Sentul house I have stayed in for the last 22 years of my life.
(Random fact: The house is EXACTLY a year older than I am. I kid you not)

But home is where the heart is, no?

The Eid spirit will come to me eventually.

The last three days have been AMAZING.

+ On Tuesday, I found out that my nephew and his wife were blessed with a baby boy.

THAT MAKES ME A GRANDAUNT FOR THE SECOND TIME.

Congratulations to Ridz and Mas on your baby boy. We're so happy over the new addition to the extended family.


+ On Wednesday, my friend (we're both the authors/mods over here and she's one of my favourite people in the world) discovered 12 NEW (OLD) SONGS BY DAVID COOK THAT WERE 30 SECONDS LONG.

Seriously, we freaked out and flailed over the phone over the songs because they sounded AMAZING (we had the lyrics so we knew how good the songs were).

You have no idea how much it means to us. I would REALLY want That's All and One Second to Change Your Life to be released as full versions. Maybe Remind Me and We're Only Honest When We're Sleeping too.

HE SHOULD RELEASE A DELUXE VERSION OF HIS ALBUM SO I CAN ENJOY ALL THESE SONGS AND OTHER 'LIVE' TRACKS.

I am greedy, I know.

Oh and Chelsea won! Anelka's slowly working his way into my good books now.


+ On Thursday, SOMETHING SO FLAIL-WORTHY HAPPENED.

So, if you're familiar with Twitter, you know I'm on it. Sometimes you follow friends, and sometimes you follow public figures/celebrities.

Sometimes, said public figures/celebrities have a thing called 'Twitter party' or 'Twitter Q & A'. It's where you get to ask them questions and they will reply you.

Unfortunately, in my case, every time the Twitter party is held, I am either asleep OR I am in uni trying to finish my degree, I HAVE MY PRIORITIES, OR I get to ask questions but they don't get answered (SCORNED).

THIS TIME I DID NOT GET SCORNED.

The last picture about the whole "SHAKING" thing? Let me explain.

I was in a bad mood before that. Someone reminded me of something that happened in school in which people were trying to label me by race and culture. They were making the decisions for me.

I know my culture and race more than any of you do know about me. I studied the Federal Constitution when I was 12 when my teachers in primary school tried to label me something that I was not.

I know better. Just because I flail at things you don't and act like a fool sometimes, I am NOT that stupid or shallow.

When he replied me, I was just happy because it gave me back my good mood. It's the little things that make me happy. I sincerely didn't expect him to reply to that because I had friends who asked even better questions than I did. And seriously, what are the chances of him replying you when his followers spam him questions EVERY 83778202883 seconds?

And the funny thing was that I have ALREADY SPOKEN TO HIM BEFORE AND YET, THERE I WAS ON TWITTER ACTING LIKE A DERANGED LOON, FLAILING AND SHAKING AT THAT ANSWER WHICH WAS NOT EVEN 'CHELSEA'?
I am such a silly child, yes, I know.

SO, YES. I WASN'T SCORNED. HE REPLIED ME. I ALMOST DIED.


And yes, I do realise how rude "This is VERY relevant to my interests" sounds.

I showed this to my mother and all she said was "This is NOT relevant to my interests. You know he ONLY said Arsenal because that's the ONLY team you can find in the English dictionary!".

Then again, she does have a point.

Yes, this made me ridiculously happy. If you don't like him or can't stand my constant yammering about him, be happy for me at least. I tolerate your rants too.
